Yea, that's what it comes down to for me.

Sure, the freezing aspect and all of that seems dumb, and it is dumb.

But in college football, a 40 yard FG is a really iffy kick for a very high percentage of teams, especially one for the win. But on NCAA, that kick will be made easily over 90% of the time.

So, if the icing feature brings that number down a bit, IMO, it's actually a more realistic option.

That is the only problem I have with it. The lame icing and all that crap.

Yes kicks are to easy in this game but lets not resort to freezing over the screen like some mortal kombat game and freezing your opponent and making his screen look like Jack Frost's house.

All Im saying is Id never use it because its basically using a stupid EA addition to bring some lame animation aspect into the mix.

Like I said, my opinion and glad Matt agrees with me too.

I was thinking, I thought I remember in the early parts of NCAA released information they talked about the realistic momentum of runners and how it will be harder for people to start and stop on a dime like years past. Have you noticed there is no real change in this? For example, I stopped using the FS on defense cause I can't manually get in the right place for some reason on NCAA, in Madden, I am good with FS, but NCAA not so good. I use the MLB in NCAA and try to read run and all that good stuff. Play call is a toss, RB and blockers get outside, I turn it in and all the sudden the RB dips in then out on a dime without any stutter steps by the RB or any juke moves...Am I alone on this? Does my explanation make sense? So many times I square up a RB or WR in this game and have Big Hit written all over their forehead and I can't even touch them because of the runners ability to completely superhuman evade...

I feel the same way. My stick skills have always been really good but in this game I come up empty all the time for no reason at all.

If you think big hit is going to work like it did in the past you're sadly mistaken. You literally have to be just about face to face with the ball carrier to pull one of. Best bet is just to leave the right analog alone.

FUCK YEAH....I was just getting ready to type that....now don't get me wrong I have been using Tulsa and I struggle/can't make a kick over 45 yards (which is true to form) but a big change from last yr's game and in games from the past....I thought it was just me/my kicker but I am hitting them very solid but still can't/don't make them...

I don't know what happened but I was running SMU in an online dynasty and I had my punter in as the kicker, punter and kos. He is an 85 overall and 87kpw and 85 kac. He couldn't even make an extra point his kicking was so bad. He got hurt on a kick off and the kicker was put in for everything and he was much better at kicking and he's 80/80.

No in-game saves sucks ass.

It's also frustrating playing as Notre Dame since the player you're controlling doesn't have his name show up (since it's not on their jersey?).

That's good to know, I thought I fucked up something with the settings when I used them.

And if that explanation is the real reason why EA did that, that is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

OK this is officially bugging the shit out of me. Hopefully someone knows how to fix this.

Everytime on defense or offense before the snap if i hit R2 to zoom out and see the setup and what not, the camera always stays zoomed out until the ball is snapped. How in the hell do I get back to normal view after holding R2 to zoom out? It always just stays and that is a horrible angle to have at so far away until the ball is snapped. Is this something we all have to live with or can i get back to my normal screen after doing that?

Turn off "show play art" in the strategy menu when you pause?

I posted about this as well T, you have to tap R2 to get the camera to come back in.

Yeah thanks I just figured this out. I think its also my controller has taken heavy damage from call of duty and the triggers tend to stick. Sometimes its still doing it but all the sudden now the camera is not staying far away at all. If it does tapping r2 has taken care of it.

How do you disguise your play? I totally forgot how to do that from the last version.

Maybe reading the manual will help.
