I don't follow.
Destiny (a "hit" game):
$300 million budget (is this production and marketing?)
$1,000 million in sales
Someone still incurs costs for server maintenance and gameplay patches/bug fixes (assuming the manufacturer).
Avengers (a "hit" movie):
$320 million budget (estimated that $100 million was marketing, movie budget widely reporter/estimated at $220 million)
$1,500 million in ticket sales
$215 million in blu-ray/dvd sales as of summer 2013
Assuming the manufacturing costs for the games and the blu-rays wash out, how is Destiny crushing a hit movie like Avengers? (I'm assuming by "crush" you mean it has a better cost to sales ratio, which it clearly doesn't.)
Why can you count post-release sales of home media but won't factor in the impending DLC?
Either way, I had no idea Avengers cost that much.

I didn't even get the beta, I haven't played it one bit. Honestly, money is really tight so I'm getting FIFA and nothing else for a while

Game share would be like 2 for 1

I'm buying FIFA via gameshare, or trying to. I can't budget paying full price for a game right now

You can, but you also have to count the cost of the DLC, which is more substantial than just printing a bunch of blu-rays.
I think big is big in either industry though flops tend to be noticed more in film as we're not often privy to the costs of games. Other than Curt Shilling's game company dying after their one game (Kingdom's of Amalur), I can't recall too many major flops for games with large amounts of hype and cost tied to them. There are awful games out there, but not ones I can think of that people expected to be great.

George, I played that level over that we did when the dude says "hope we don't get caught in a polar vortex". And it was really easy. Are the levels easier solo? At level 9 still, I was just over matched on any of the Venus levels by myself, so decided to redo levels to level up.

Once you start leveling up it gets easier. Not sure if it is easier if you are playing solo. It's nice to have someone to revive you though, especially when no re-spawning is allowed.

Ain't me.
And, quite honestly, might not be me ever. This is the worst PvP imaginable.

Its fun.
your mistake is youre looking at control like its domination and its not that

No. It's clunky, bland (from the narrator to the team names), and boring. Interestingly enough, the PvP was the element I was most excited about but, as it turns out, I am getting tremendous fun out of the story mode. Also, one of the things I have noticed in PvP is that nearly every single match comes down to the stretch with both teams very close to winning. That is because the game is, largely, an unmanageable crapshoot what with the ability to one-shot someone with your secondary weapon and the supers. I will never have two consecutive good or bad games and my team will never win/lose by more than a cunt hair.
Also, it doesn't help that the last three shooters/PvP games I've played have been Battlefield 3/4, The Last of Us (which is about as strategic a MP as possible), and Rift.
This game could really use world PvP, though. That'd be interesting.

It's much more team focused then most FPS. You have to travel in packs (unless the other team is just flat out awful) if you want to win.

So I did not wanna scroll through ten pages of talking and was just curious what this game is all about?
I have heard people ranting and raving and was mostly curious. It sounds a bit MMORPGish or a bit like Borderlands......

It is Space Borderlands with more MMORPG endgame stuff.
