Using the Bleacher Report app and came across a tweet that there were rumors that he was using coke for a couple of years. Not sure. He won't get his belt taken away for that drug test as it was an out of cycle testing. Now the one before the fight, those test results have yet to come in. If it comes that he tested positive there again, the Guss / Rumble fight could be for the interim or even the actual championship belt.

It's sad that Matt Riddle got bounced for an out of cycle (I believe it was) pot test. Who cares, it's weed. It doesn't affect how you fight positively, probably more negatively than anything. I liked Riddle, he was fun to watch grow inside the ring. He could have been a top 10 fighter in his weight class had he been given the opportunity to go to rehab.

I don't recall all of the specifics, but Riddle wasn't interested in rehab, that's for sure. He very much has the Nick Diaz stance on it... minus the license. :-)

I keep up to date on Sherdog and have a pretty good knack and picking out the useful vs useless information... it's seeming pretty obvious that Jones drug issue has been a known thing since at least 2011. Numerous accounts, including a saved post from then about people that had either seen / heard of him doing it.

Someone pulled up a banned thread from 2011 about him doing coke with a friend. Another person pulled up a thread from 2012 in which a user claimed to be playing XBox with Cerrone (gamertag confirmed from screenshot) and claiming that Cerrone said in chat that "Jon Jones is a fake ass faggot lmao he also said he acts religous but gets drunk and sniffs coke off hookers tits lmao."

Pretty funny stuff.

I believe Jones's thing was a 1 time thing just like I believe that Ray Rice just so happened that the one and only time he ever hit a woman was on camera.

I could be wrong, but it's usually best to play the percentages.

I always enjoy the fighter reactions on Twitter after/during events... this 'event' didn't disappoint.

I know he's a beloved UFC poster boy, meaning the UFC heads like him. Obviously there are fans and haters. But He's brought in so much money into the UFC, I'm curious how it all will be handled. Will he be made an example or give him the minimum with a shot of redemption?

I must admit I was a bit shocked when I saw that yesterday. The way he keeps lean and in shape for fights you'd figure that he treated his body the right way. Obviously I didn't know he was the UFCs version of Alan from the Hangover.

He failed two tests in a two week span (first test was "watered down"), and apparently he wasn't supposed to be tested for cocaine. UFC was notified weeks before the fight and did nothing about it.

But like someone said, he brings in the cash, so he gets special treatment. Just like any other business.

The tests are up on Bloody Elbow... his T/E is ridiculously low. He has a huge spike in Epi (the E, which should be much more inline with T) and his Andro boosts significantly close to the fight. This is going to raise a lot of questions now. It's almost as if he was hyped up on some PEDs, then was caught fairly close to using the Cocaine (doesn't stay in system long) and that tore down some of the levels, causing the bizarre differences. The E flying so high is a big red flag of masking agents.

Seems pretty clear this is a habit, not a "one time" thing.

Jon Jones was in rehab for one night. What a joke.

"You know, it did not affect his game, it was not in his system during the fight, so he's still a good athlete. So before something becomes serious of it, I was glad it was nipped in the butt."
Nipped in the butt?

I was getting ready to say the same thing, almost verbatim.

Now VanZant, she is a fun fighter to watch. At least her UFC Debut was.

It would seem so, and now White is coming out saying people will understand when they know the truth? I really want to know what he thinks will make people understand, cause right now it just looks like a horribly bungled attempt at a PR move.

I know it sounds like a silly question, but I think it's legit...why do people care if he does cocaine or not?

I know the default answer will probably be that it's an illegal drug, but my response would be...and? Still doesn't answer why we should care?

If you just like the talking point and gives you something to blabber about in the off time, that's cool. But lots of guys get way too into something that doesn't really have much to do with what is the only reason we care about Jones, you just wanna watch him fight.
