How is it a joke? They scheduled their non-cons as Virginia Tech, Navy, Cincinnati and Kent State. That appears pretty solid to me.

What is this NDL you speak of?

9 more days. Just looking at the schedule this afternoon. Is this the best Week 1 of college football ever? I don't think I've ever seen this many good/great games the first week of the season.

You realize the most likely scheduled that when VT was still good and UC was in their better days right?

It's not like the schedule these things 1 year in advance

the schedule was made years ago... never knew that VT would decline. Cinci/Navy are solid non-cons. Maybe for a big 10 team this weak but this isn't the SEC.

They constantly get shit from people for not playing UC, especially when UC had those 3-4 really good years in the Big LEast. Can't win for losing apparently

If this backup kid is actually decent, I think they'll do better without Miller. He doesn't throw the ball well at all, he just looks for the first read and runs. They did better with Guiton last year than miller.

It's all anyone is talking about around here, so annoying

Its better than any SEC out of conference schedule.

Because they play the toughest schedule in the world every year in the SEC so they are allowed to schedule cupcakes though.

Good to have football back!! :)

I'm pretty sure after this home/home with Va Tech, OSU has a home/home lined up with Oklahoma. They had this set up over 5 years ago, so it could've changed by now.

Oklahoma has really set up at least one tough OOC game for the next 6-7 years. Its the only thing ill give them credit for.

the big 5 should really just break apart at this point. allow 1 game vs non-big 5 a year. Every week would be amazing.

The gulf between the 2 will become such that they eventually won't be able to play each other I'd think.

I don't think that so much. The better of the others will have a hard time. Watch, as I predict, Utah State to wipe the floor with Tennessee and then count how many times Utah State ends up on someone's schedule. People stopped wanting to schedule Fresno State in the nineties after Pat Ford went from having his team's ass kicked in for the first four weeks of the season to beating - and sometimes routing - teams.

I'm waiting for SEC II, a 16 team sub-conference of the SEC where the 2 division winners are promoted the following year and the 2 worst teams in the SEC I are relegated. :-)

Would be epic!!!

The top division could play round robin of 7 games and even throw in 2 games against the 2nd division if you want(though that could get tricky with the round robin) for 9 conference games.

That's the ACC, minus the promotion and relegation.

I know that schedules are made in advance. I'm sorry I'm not impressed with ohio st schedule. Sorry if I offended some of you Nancy's. But I won't take them serious if they run the table.......
