Sometimes I think people have a “top 5” or something like that and they set out to fill that quota, regardless of candidates. So on down years I think you get a boost because of that.

That’s not to say anything for or against Meijia, I don’t remember his profile well enough to say if he should have gotten it or not.

That makes sense. He was really good. I didn’t have him on the ballot but when I did my HOF threads I deemed him worthy of a blurb and consideration. It’s just rare to see someone go from 50 to 80% in our league without any new owners really

I am 100% okay in missing out on the 2 INT FAs with the payday they got.

Not saying they aren't worth it, but way more than I was okay paying.

Also, man, these 4 year deals with 2 buyout years are straight BS to me, especially when the buyout amount is the same for both. Should have to be a higher amount for the first one, and yes, I know you have to pay both.

Why are guys who havent even made it outta Short A, being taken in Rule 5. This is soooo fucking stupid and is one of the reasons I hate the Rule 5.
