This is ghastly
I can't think of another band I've gone from liking so much to very quickly hating more than any other band out there.

Brent Venables must make head coach cash to not be one for this long of a time.

Best quote I have seen
Saban is probably more pissed off at the fact that he still needs to pay his players after this game

Haha, nice.

I can't lie, I had a smug grin on my face most of the night. I'm a lot less disappointed in our backup CB who got roasted 3x by Lawrence --> Ross. That duo is awesome.

i think he is the highest paid defensive assistant in the country now. I have been thinking since he was OU that someone should give him a shot at HC. I thought K-State would want him, but it puzzles me more every year how he isn't getting something. WVU would be a good job, not sure if they have hired to replace Holgerson yet. Miami should've waited for him if they wanted a DC as HC.

I think he has probably made it clear he doesnt want to be a HC is my assumption and is being paid as one as a DC. Pretty great gig.

Fun Fact: Clemson scored more on Alabama in one game than LSU has in 5 years.

November 8, 2014: Alabama 20 – LSU 13 (OT)
November 7, 2015: Alabama 30 – LSU 16
November 5, 2016: Alabama 10 – LSU 0
November 4, 2017: Alabama 24 – LSU 10
November 3, 2018: Alabama 29 – LSU 0

Just goes to show LSU all you need is a 5 star QB, 3 top flight receivers, and a 1500 yard rusher plus a great o line all at the same time. Not to mention a top 3 coach.

We have had solid WRs and Fournette/Guice...hasn't helped either.

I even saw something about the last couple of seasons our WR recruits have been just as highly ranked as Clemson's, but yea, we don't have a QB "quite as good" as Trevor Lawrence.

Y’all have had pieces each year for sure. Never at same time though.

Don't have the numbers up, just going on memory...we finally had a really solid offense when Mettenberger and Odell/Jarvis Landry. Our 1st competent offense since JaMarcus left.

And that happened to be the one year our defense was just not very good, the worst D we had in a few years. Like you said, the timing just hasn't lined up.

But since Mett's final season, we've gone back to not having a competent passing game the past 5+ years again.

If you don't like the video, at least it's still 5 minutes of Katie Nolan.

Win win...

Fixed for you. Wasn’t our OC. Was talk of promoting him since Lock left. It’s a good get and now puts y’all in the Jalen race. He definitely improved Jalen. Wasn’t real big on him as an OC and think we could do better. Would have been good to have some continuity since we will be replacing OC Oline Wr and now QB coach.
