learning more about that shooting. The school should be held culpable as well. I am positive they will face civil cases and lose a lot of money in those cases.
why is that? I don't know the ins and outs
Nov. 30: On the morning of the shooting, Ethan’s teacher came across a note that “alarmed her to the point that she took a picture of it on her cell phone.” The note contained “a drawing of a semiautomatic handgun pointing at the words ‘the thoughts won’t stop. help me.’" Also included in the note was a drawing of a bullet with “blood everywhere” written above it. Between the gun and the bullet is a drawing of a person who appears to have been shot twice and bleeding with a laughing emoji under it. The note also has “my life is useless” and “the world is dead” scrawled on it.
The parents were “immediately summoned to the school." A school counselor removed Ethan from class with his backpack and obtained the note, but the drawings of the gun, bloody figure and writings were all “altered.” At the meeting with school officials, his parents were shown the drawing and were told they had to submit their son to counseling within 48 hours. His parents did not ask the whereabouts of the gun and did not to inspect his backpack for the gun which he had with him, according to McDonald. His parents “resisted” the idea of taking Ethan out of school and left without him.
Who cares what his parents wishes were at that point. He should have been expelled immediately. They also didn't look in his backpack which would have revealed the gun. They were negligent and the parents of the kids shot should sue the shit out of that school system.
How many here have a gas stove? I prefer gas over electric due to the ability of using my cast iron skillets. I have an 8", 10", 12" and a 22" cast iron and honestly it's the best way to cook.
After we moved into our new house I was hell bent on getting one and the wife kept putting it off. Finally got one getting delivered tomorrow. We are going to run the gas lines tonight, so if you don't hear from me tomorrow then you know I blew the house up

When we built our current house it was a requirement to have it and I can’t see ever going back.
I’m with you.
I hate electric stoves. I love my cast irons and haven't been able to use one in a year (outside of camping). Cast iron's are the only way to cook a proper ribeye IMO. Search Gordon Ramsey's perfect steak and try the recipe one time and you'll never go back to a grill.
I baby my cast irons, nobody is allowed to clean them except me. If I go to someones house and they cook with their cast irons I volunteer myself to clean them. It's relaxing for me. I can cook eggs in mine without them sticking I have them seasoned so well

I've got one... it's mostly unused sitting beside my air fryer.
On this type of topic.. I hate microwaves . With the exception of popcorn, nothing microwaved tastes good ever. I’d much rather throw say pizza pops in the oven for 30. If I reheat chili it’s going on the stove. Ugh. Hate mic’s.
The bomb squad was called to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on Thursday (December 2), after a patient was admitted with a mortar shell stuck in his rectum.
Troops from 11 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Regiment rushed to the Gloucester hospital after being notified by police "that a patient had presented with a munition in his rectum."
The man was a military enthusiast who found the shell while clearing out, but somehow "tripped" and fell onto the 57mm piece of army ordnance that landed him in hospital, according to The Sun.

Technicality here but you can’t immediately expel a kid. But you can suspend for ten days and file expulsion papers. There’s a due process for suspensions and expulsions that has to be followed.
A teacher got a backpack dropped on her head at my school a few weeks back.. sustained a concussion.. hasn’t returned. The kid didn’t get in any trouble. Shits so wild.
super high, eating burritos thought.. wonder if things like coronavirus are evolutions way of getting rid of obesity. gotta figure if it lingers that generations to come will be in better shape to avoid long term complications.
Whats also crazy is how quickly cigarettes are dying.

I guess expulsion was too harsh in my comment. But they should have suspended him until he had proof that he saw a psychiatrist before returning
