Absolutely enjoying this game. Houston might have something here. He's a bit of a gunslinger, but could definitely work for them. You could pretty much credit my interest in this game for getting the next OOTP season running. This has had me entertained throughout the night.

What was the reason Incognito got kicked out of Nebraska?

If the texts are accurate, it was probably something racial or something to do with his inbreeding

Multiple sources confirmed to ESPN that the following is a transcript of a voice message Incognito left for Martin in April 2013, a year after Martin was drafted:
"Hey, wassup, you half n----- piece of s---. I saw you on Twitter, you been training 10 weeks. s--- in your f------ mouth. [I'm going to] slap your f------ mouth. [I'm going to] slap your real mother across the face [laughter]. F--- you, you're still a rookie. I'll kill you."

There's also a Deadspin article on some poster on a Dolphins message board having a meltdown, and they've traced it back and that poster appears to possibly be Incognito's dad. If fsomeone can link that, that article and the accusations, all of it is just amazing.

Lebby's radio show is gonna be so good today!!!

So why are text and voice messages public knowledge? Trendon, what legal action can he take now?

Not trying to defend him, but dang, shouldn't that be confidential information?

I think I'm just bred different. I get that it's all wrong and stuff... and should be punished... but I'm looking at this from how I'd feel in Martin's place and I just don't see how this would even bother me. Icognito is a such a moron that I couldn't take anything he says seriously and every time the mental midget would text or leave a voicemail I would just laugh at how ignorant and dumb the guy is. To be honest, if I'm evaluating these 2, #1, I don't want Incognito on my team (thought he was a d bag before anyway) and #2, I'm fairly certain I don't want Martin either. If this dude can get in your head that easily, I don't want you being responsible for protecting my QB. I hate to be that guy, but he does seem like a puss.

For those of you that aren't sure what the deleted parts of the words are I'm going to fill them in for you to help you out.

Man, that Richie Incognito is a really messed up guy.

I'm kind of the same way. I just laugh at morons like Incognito. But then you have to take into account that this guy is notoriously one of the dirtiest players in the league and wouldn't think twice about "accidentally" injuring you in a practice or something like that.

that's a pretty ignorant view with limited information available.

nobody deserves to work in an environment they don't feel comfortable/safe in.

im sure we dont know 90% of what went on. However, lets not act like the NFL is your normal work environment. there is hazing. These texts seem to go far beyond hazing though IMO

well it is a normal work environment or it should be. its the highest level of sports and professional football. I get what you're saying, but hazing is no different than someone saran wrapping your desk or some shit. its monitored, its done to everyone and then its over. threatening someone is obviously much different.

a lot of times we just glorify these guys so much cause they look/seem superhuman that we forget they aren't any different than you or I. if you went to work and had someone ripping on you or threatening you or preventing you from doing your job properly, you'd probably try your best to ignore it until you snapped. which is apparently what he did here. he didn't snap by attacking, he snapped internally. not that abnormal of a reaction, imo.

I feel horrible for the guy, I grew up with hard nose coaching and i'm 100% for the old school mentality of training/teaching (aka Calhoun, bobby knight, nick saban, etc) but this isn't anything like that... this is just bullying and terrorizing someone.
