Not trying to defend him, but dang, shouldn't that be confidential information?
What legal action can who take?

And why would a text message NOT be public knowledge?

that's a pretty ignorant view with limited information available.

nobody deserves to work in an environment they don't feel comfortable/safe in.
Clearly the statement is made solely based on the information available. Show me something more than a bumbling idiot rant from Incognito or a prank in which his linemates get up and leave the table and I could switch my viewpoint. But based on what I've seen so far, Incognito isn't his biggest problem. He has some personal stuff to work out.

it seems that way.

I say worse than all this to BFiVL almost nightly on NCAA or COD. We're fucking around.

Out of context this all sounds down right awful. Like Incognito might have some seriosu mental issues. But who knows if it was a back n forth

This is one thing that I don't get and I also refuse to buy into it. I wouldn't pay it. You don't like it, tough. I don't care if I'm a rookie or not. $30k is about 10% of my annual take home and I'm not getting stuck with it. I'd be happy to to leave Mr. Incognito's name and number with the waiter after paying for my dinner and leaving.

Random guess... Incognito pegged Martin as a mentally weak person and chose him as his target... then never let up because the guy is such a pushover.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't even find it threatening, especially via voicemail or text. I've had people say far worse than that to my face, in a hostile environment and still didn't have an issue. #1 - If you've got that much of an issue with me, then lets settle it. We play on the same team and that isn't going to change. #2 - If that's the kind of insult/threat that Incognito spews out, I'd have a hard time not calling him a moron and just laughing at the moment those words came out. Seriously? Mom smack? Racial crap? I've heard better from 12yr olds on COD.

Should have just taken their shirts off and fought. The Ogre could have led the cheering session.

you keep making this about you... this has nothing to do with you.

it probably wouldn't bother me all that much either... but that has absolutely nothing to do with this nor does it make Martin any better/worse stronger/weaker of a person than us.

there is no place for it in a professional environment.

Uh... Dave... it's about me because my post indicated it's about me. Hence us being on a message board and that post being my take on how I would be in the situation. You just pranced in to let us know that the work environment shouldn't be like that... which I know this will be shocking to you, but I agreed with you in my very first sentence and openly said it was wrong.
ReignOnU wrote:I think I'm just bred different. I get that it's all wrong and stuff... and should be punished... but I'm looking at this from how I'd feel in Martin's place and I just don't see how this would even bother me. Icognito is a such a moron that I couldn't take anything he says seriously and every time the mental midget would text or leave a voicemail I would just laugh at how ignorant and dumb the guy is. To be honest, if I'm evaluating these 2, #1, I don't want Incognito on my team (thought he was a d bag before anyway) and #2, I'm fairly certain I don't want Martin either. If this dude can get in your head that easily, I don't want you being responsible for protecting my QB. I hate to be that guy, but he does seem like a puss.

sure, which was fine til your comments about Martin being a pussy.

maybe I misunderstood your posts... I took it as you're really tough, Martin is a pussy... you don't get why its such a big deal. if I misread than my bad.

We have the same issues on cod. Big mike is incognito. Hoos is Martin.

I don't think I'm really tough, I just think I'd handle the situation different. Based on what I've seen, as I said, if that's all that has happened, then I do think he's a puss. My best guess is that there is a lot more... and by a lot, I mean something incredibly serious. I find it pretty hard to believe that you get to the NFL with such thin skin. But if that smack from Incognito and some linemates pulling a lunch prank is all there is, goodness... nut up.

Hoos use to buy all the map packs for mike. Mike made Hoos cry and take a leave of absense from cod and he has yet to turn his mic back on. Crazy parallel.

I thought the money part was just over-exaggerated. one of the rookies on dolphins said they split it between 10 of em or something. Obviously you gotta be smart enough to realize Martin is fucking miserable and hates being shit on, but for dickheads like Incognito i think that usually just fuels it more.

Right... that 30k dinner bill was a team function split by the rookies. The 15k was directly by Martin. Plus there are rumblings of others.

Not sure that it's a bad thing at this point. That line is terrible.

Poor Tannehill.

Maybe getting rid of Incognito will help them out. He can't be good for overall team morale.
