I though we were going to see the most epic choke job ever for a second there.

I was waiting for him to toss the ball on the ground and watch Philly pick it up after he returned the int as part of a celebration.

I said the same thing to my dad.....lol.

Eric Berry is like an Ed Reed in waiting.

Hart I just read through this thread, Reed may not be the best safety in the league but to say he isn't good is a bit much. And of course he gets beat in coverage a lot of safeties do....thats why they play that position and not corner.

Nnamdi is more than welcome to come to Chi town :). Guy is a stud.

How dare you all think the Packers were gonna choke. I will admit I was pissed we didnt try to throw earlier with 3 minutes left, go for the win, knock out punch. Whatever a win is a win, on to the divisional round.

Hart4Heisman wrote:whats funny is i never said he wasnt good. i dont like him because i personally heard how awesome he was and when i watched the video, he wasnt all that special.

i watched a highlight video of him on youtube earlier, and of the 6 iNts he had... 2 were ducks, 2 were tipped, one was horribly thrown and he made a nice read/cut on the other one.
the guy was:

-- a first round draft pick
-- 7 x pro bowl (sure it may be a popularity contest to an extent, but not 7x's... he was also the only player unanimously picked for the game in 2008)
-- 6 x all pro
-- NFL Defensive player of the year
-- made the all decade team
-- since 1970 only 2 players have as many 2 interception games as him (Ronnie Lott and Paul Krause)
-- one of the top paid NFL Safeties

CLEARLY everyone else in the world is nuts but because you're watching youtube video you know better.

'he's not that special' and we're the idiots.. got it dude.

I am just interested how Hart knows the damn coverages when the safeties aren't ever pictured pre-snap on the television.........

I just find it funny how everyones ripping hart, but honestly, I would take his or Packsyd's advice in football over the rest of you any day lol. You guys don't really have a clue what you're talking about unless you played it. Like you wouldn't take advice on stocks from me but you would dave, wonder why? Oh because that's his field.

I know it's not their careers but Hart played 10 seasons out of like 22 yrs, thats a huge portion of his life.

I just find it funny how 1 person can have a different opinion and then you get the trip from NDL: Florida coming along together talking shit, like shut the fuck up lol, you guys know as much shit as i do...none

Im not a jerk to anyone here so if you take it as me being a jerk to you cry me a river.

Hell, Im not even a jerk to Hart. I am just trying to grasp his hate for Reed because he heard how awesome he is and then watched some tape and thinks he doesnt deserve the hype.

Ok, cool. Thats your opinion but when 80/20 split is on the other side of an opinion dont you get the feeling it may be of a more personal bias and your opinion may be wrong?

I try not to comment because honestly, yes I am a homer for Reed as he is one of my favorite players to ever play the game. But when others who dont have a dog in the fight can bring the stats, the accolades, and NFL pros agreeing its gotta stand for something? No?

he doesnt like Reed cause our buddy travis growing up was a huge miami hurricanes fan and would slurp reed all the time and hart likes to argue pointless shit and this is one of them because he had a stiffy for Brian Dawkins. Thats honestly it, he might say otherwise but thats it

playing a sport doesn't make you any more or less knowledgable about something

there are hundreds of examples of GM's and Coaches and Coordinators who never played a down of football in their lives.
