I cant remember who the Denver owner was to start with, but Doc took them over in 2016 and moved them to Pittsburgh in 2018. I tried to find who it was, but can't find it.Cnasty wrote:DocWhittness10 wrote:Loving all the graphs this morning. And who was Denver in the beginning?

If you go look at the draft pool for next year none of those guys are there.footballkelly31 wrote:Yes they should show up next season in the draft pool.
The draft pool may not be complete, this is more a question for Reign, but they probably should be there next draft.BigRy wrote:If you go look at the draft pool for next year none of those guys are there.footballkelly31 wrote:Yes they should show up next season in the draft pool.
A few others who were young enough, are.
For example Miguel Castaneda is in the draft drafted by San Antonio. He didn't sign but is back in the pool.
Meanwhile, now SA, with winning record, gets his top 10 back.
This is a serious flaw in our league. Now, there could very well be something I don't understand about this process. If so, Id like to know what the reasons for the following are:
1) Why are the players missing?
2) Why do these teams get their picks back, is this an MLB rule or NDL rule?
More graphs!! This is awesome.nick wrote:bottom left is best. no surprise. i wish the middle part of the site was bigger so bigger images would work
pick plus 1. So if they picked 8th, they get the 9th next year.GeorgesGoons wrote:They get their pick back or do they get a compensation pick after the first round?
I believe we do lose our comp pick if you fail to sign the guy you take with that pick. I could be wrong but I recall the game telling me that I'd lose it if I didn't sign the pick, I beleive it was Melcher.Uuaww wrote:The draft pool may not be complete, this is more a question for Reign, but they probably should be there next draft.BigRy wrote:If you go look at the draft pool for next year none of those guys are there.footballkelly31 wrote:Yes they should show up next season in the draft pool.

Compensation for unsigned picks is an MLB rule, we follow it. Where we differentiate is that in the MLB if you fail to sign your compensation pick from the year before, you don't get another. We continue to give them until able to sign.
We just discussed yesterday how Chris Christensen didnt sign twice and finally did a third time with New England. Relax, they'll be thereBigRy wrote:If you go look at the draft pool for next year none of those guys are there.footballkelly31 wrote:Yes they should show up next season in the draft pool.

This just happened with Gustavo Martinez. Looked at his report and he jumped up in rating as well.Uuaww wrote:I was either the first or second to not sign Christensen. I remember just not being able to give him what he offered and it drove me nuts.
On another draft note. I drafted Anthony McCrocken (great name) years back and he finally broke through with my major league team. He was something like 88/88/50 potentials for Contact/Power/Eye when I drafted him but quickly within a year when down to like 50/50/50. Slowly though he has been climbing and is up the 70s in contact and power with an improved eye. Never seen a guy drop and then get it back before.
youre gonna retire 70+ potential dudes cause they did their 4? wat? Can we penalize the teams that drafted players they simply couldnt afford and now apparently ruined?ReignOnU wrote:Regarding the unsigned players...
...if they were HS players, they automatically end up in college.
...if they were college players with 4 years played, they will be manually retired.
