yup, but shea is black with tan markings (white now thats she's old)
she's 11.
Shiba's are a handful. be sure you're ready and have experience with dogs

My buddy has a Shiba, good dogs though.

From what I've always heard, yes, they demand a lot of attention and pretty sure it entails more than throwing the ball. A buddy of mine that had a Shiba told me he had to mentally stimulate the dog more than physically.

I've got a chocolate lab, just turned 5. Haven't cleaned up the first mess from this dog and I've had him since he was 6 weeks old. Labs just know. He stays home alone for about 15 hours a day on my work days and never a problem. My biased opinion, get a lab.
