The deep ball is nowhere near like it used to be and as you can see, easily defended even one on one with good corners.
I think you abandoning the run to early Shel hurt you as well. I get the same way though if I get down, the passing game is all I do. Screw running.

Running is for the birds.

It's also easier to defend the pass when you know the HB isn't doing anything but blocking, since Shel never throws to him--turns it into 7 LB/DBs covering 4 guys downfield.

You also lead the league in "Excuses for Being Mediocre at BEST with CJ Spiller"
Roddy Jones looks forward to catching 9 passes out of the backfield against you next year if you're still allowed to coach Clemson next year

oh shut up you only beat me once on this game (season 16 is under protest)
HB receptions vs. me:
2 (OU), 5 (GT), 3 (BC), 5 (MD), 2 (WFU), 4 (MIA), 1 (FSU), 2 (NCSU), 4 (UVA), 2 (SC), 5 (UNM)
1 game not included cuz TENN didn't enter stats so 3.18 receptions from RBs per game
