Barnes has really got his guys shutting down the paint this half.

Texas looks like way the better team now. The K State O is the terrible one now.

Ok. In all honesty this is my first time to see them this season.

I will watch them some more as I am just now getting in basketball mode, but they looked terrible.

lol its 1 game in january... their talent alone gives them a "shot". they are still a solid team despite having an off game

What kind of odds are you gonna give me?

If you really want to put some money where your big fat mouth is I'd be very interested.

UT is probably around 10/1 to win the NCAA tournament right now, so if you gave me about 3/1 odds I think i'd be interested in any amount you'd want to put up there.

We're very young at the guard position and it showed tonight. We suck at the FT line, but we had many opportunities to win that game tonight.

Every game is like that where we dominate the early part of the 2H, but KSU's fans did a great job giving their team extra energy to withstand the droughts. We were awful on the line and turned the ball over too much, which is a recipe for disaster when you're playing a good team on the road. It will be fixed as everyone matures, and Damion James has never played that poorly.

We would beat them by DDs on a neutral site, but I'll admit I lost my first wager of the season on Texas today. Was thinking about playing KSU -1.5 all day long, but couldn't, and took UT in the 2H (+7 for the game) and we were covering for almost the entire half until the foul parade (would love to ask Rick Barnes why he didn't trust his D to get a stop with 2:30 left after a turnover led to 2 easy FTs on the 'Cats last possession)

I'll give you 3/1 20 dollars Texas does not make the final 4. They will lose 1 more game in the big 12 and you will think they are great because the big 12 blows besides 4 teams. In the tourney they will get beat.

Free Throws win you games in March.....they better do a better job then they did last night or no cuttin down the nets for UT in March.

They were really bad shooting free throws. Their guard play was some of the worst I have seen from a ricl barnes team, and it never looked good.

This is just not an elite team. James and Pittman are solid. But Balboy (who I also saw play late in the year last season), and Lucas are not great PG. Sure they can dribble penatrate, but they can't dish the rock.

Texas could overcome these these with luck and great coaching much like Michagan state does. The thing is Barnes is Izzo so that's not happening.

Also I watched they game last night to get a good look at both teams. I am just now swinging into basketball mode. I wanted Texas to lose, but I am not fiesty, or Jscene.

As for you OU being bad at 2 things. That does not bother me. So keep trying. You all will struggle to beat us in football again next year, and basketball is having a down year.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd Balbay just had a bad game and it was only our 2nd road game of the year so the young freshmen should have struggled.
