You could just enter them during your first regular season game as you prob wont need all 85 guys on the damn team......

Leaguedaddy does it normally but this season Glenn is having issues with the site he normally gets them from changing their format.
He is working on it.
You can wait (no date given as to when it will be fixed)
or as everyone suggests, go ahead and put them in yourself
if you do them after your 1st 2 or 3 games it will add 15 miuntes tops to it

Virginia Tech is done...for the most part
I'll continue to add guys and manage the roster; no need to do a mass update for me

just play a game, and look at player stats. minus maybe a couple backups those are the only players you are going to need to enter. no need to put in 15 o-lineman and 10 d-lineman when maybe 4 of each will get stats in a season

i understand clicking back onto my team, but it wouldnt let me add anymore to it. I don't know why, maybe it was because I only added the 3 last night and waited to long?

Fellas... if you need help, shoot me a PM. I can send you a PM list that you paste into your import box and you'll be done. It only takes me about 10min per team to get you the info.

I_S33M_THAB33T_U I was going to put in Purdue for you, but it looks like someone did them already. At least the names and positions.

Any of you guys that are doing it in excel, any way to get the info off the webpage and paste into excel without having to change a bunch of stuff manually?
As I stated, I did mine, but It keeps posting the last and first name together in one column.
And when I was going to do Purdue for him, it posted their height and weight together.
Any excel gurus out there that can help?

ATTENTION
I've got access now to edit your rosters for you. If you need your roster updated, shoot me a PM with a link to the site that you want me to use to get the rosters from. I'll do them when I have free time each day and send you a note back that they are completed.

Niddler... To break the Last Name, First Name, highlight the column and click Data --> Text to Columns --> Select Delimited --> Change the checkbox to Other and enter a , --> Click Next --> Select the format new cells as text --> click finish.
The other issue you will run in to is that the Height is going to come over in XX-Month format. (usual default) You have to do some hand keying here in most cases. Just resort by Month, create 2 new columns, formatted as Numbers. Enter 5 for the May dates, 6 for the June. Then key in the inches in another column. Add another column formatted as number and create this formula (assuming height in Column A, weight in Column B) =A1&"-"&B1/ That will make the height appear as 6-1 (etc.).

reign, thanks, but I just tried it on my team and actually, when I copy and paste it out of excel into Leaguedaddy, leaguedaddy will take them that way.
As long as their is a , between them, it pasted in and seperated them for me just fine.
And I did not save the file as a CSV file either.
I am just in excel and copy and pasted them into leaguedaddy.
I have it so the height colum, you just put in the numbers and it seperates them for you with a -
so you put in 59 and it makes it 5-9.
The issue again, Purdue's height/weight comes over as 6-5/277
So I need to separate that and the delimited does not work for that.
Now I am just working on If statements so like Purdue's roster, they typed out their positions. So Wide Receiver instead of WR.
So I am having excel auto change it to WR if the column shows Wide Receiver.
If it works, we should be able to just copy and paste most rosters from the team's official websites into my spreadsheet and then copy and paste into leaguedaddy after removing things like the players hometown and such that leaguedaddy does not care about.
