doesn't change the fact its not realistic.
I get what you are saying, don't get me wrong. But when does it get realistic? Let's take me at South Florida with Carlton Hill at QB. I ran the fucking option 35 out of 40 plays. I got great scores because, since 2003, Trendon & option were synonymous amongst those who played this game for a while. USF doesn't run the option and never out of a wishbone!
Jeff has turned about four schools into a veritable airport now. When does it become realistic? You follow me?

I get great reports. I say 10% of that is because I lose, 70% is my game, and 20% is the fact that people expect this shit with me ... i.e. it is not unrealistic to play Trendon and get two faked kicks, six PA's, and 10 bombs.
Look, is it not possible to speak out and not be talking about myself? I know there is an underlying dislike of PA but, EA seemed to do a great job with it this year. I think.

i havent heard anyone pull the "PA card" this version, not once
That said, if Jeff runs it, it doesnt seems very realistic....or me for that matter, since i throw a lot and rarely run (since i'm usually losing)

Now that is a valid point.
And, speaking of PA, who do I email at EA for a request? My request is to have NO plays PA by default but you hit a button to trigger it. All of the really awesome pass patterns are in PA and I don't feel like getting sacked 10 times a game.

Jeffdaddy doesn't really care about winning. He just wants to pass. So if you are playing him and you are going to score, score quick. He wants the ball to pass more. I don't want to hear him bitch about how his opponent is having long drives and chewing the clock.
P.S. I have yet to run a PA play since entering the NDL

this has worried me a bit with the PB i am using now. it has a lot of sets that look a lot alike. but, the plays in each vary a lot more than the normal one back sets or I forms.

As the guy who gave up the 601...Let me say when I saw the air raid style of offense, I didn't expect the run...the game was close...trading TD's until I threw INT's on back to back drives in the 4th...he threw varied routes to varied receivers, and played solid D. Seemed alot like Mike Leach's Texas Tech to me or the run and shoot...and it was a fun game.
Just my thoughts.

I can honestly say I haven't run a PA in probably 12+ seasons(except for when Nole told me to run one when he was watching a game of mine and I threw an INT...Thanks Nole), ever since they were just horribly overdone and fairly cheesy. They really aren't bad at all now and I don't mind others running them on me as much as they want, but I just skip right by them when going through my playbook.

I try to run PA as it is a BIG part of the college game. I usually get sacked unless you are in SG and then its incomplete.

LOL.
I am having success with the PA. Again, I maintain that's only because the cool patterns are all in PA, especially for the slot receivers.

guess it all depends the situation.....the biggest factor for me is if I am being taken to the woodshed, I would not be happy to see a person still passing or your impact stud RB still running. Last season, I could have easily went for the heisman with my top RB however my 2nd string RB got alot of carries if I was up. So you have to look at it that way. That is like Brewster from Minnesota getting upset about a 2 point conversion late with a big lead. In the NDL, you know just not to do it.
Packsy, I do remember there was a big stink about Thomas having all the carries and you won by a bunch. That is called padding stats. I think you would not have been dinged as long as people actually knew you had a backup running back.

Excellent point. You wanna pass for 600 yards or rush for 600 yards then spread the wealth. If you are getting that much yardage then you are probably up big, take out the starters and do it with back ups. T

For the record, the intent of this thread was to shine a spotlight on "Jeffdaddy's World"
Not intended to get in a passive aggressive debate as to why people complain more than others. Or how passing/running every play is frowned upon...Save those arguments for some other thread

Because its not a factor much anymore. I dont ever run them because its a sack about 9/10 times.

My thoughts exactly. I run an Air Raid offense and did last season also. When the game is loading and I look at the playbooks being used and I see the other guy is running an Air Raid or Spread I know hes gonna be in Shotgun and passing. Like wise if I see a option offense I know whats coming. Not matter what it is if you do something one dimentional then you have to expect a complaint or two. Just the way it goes.
As for JDaddy, Im all for you bud. Sling that rock and dont look back. Passing is an art. Running you just get the ball and try not to get tackled. Passing you have to not get sacked pick the right reciever and not throw a pick and then try and not get tackled. Alot more complicated and room for error. Keep it up gunslinger!
