I'm not asking for votes cause last thing I want is to give people free points lol, but jesus people put some effort into it.
Actually, you were not 2-0 at the time the voting aid was completed last Saturday night, thus, you didn't show up in the voting aid (If I listed every 1-0 team, half the league would have been in there). Had you been 2-0 when I did the aid, you would have shown up.

Ank wrote:90 coaches voted....not bad, but I dont see how everyone don't submit a vote. I see a few guys missing out just cause they got busy or forgot every once in a while///but 30 is alot considering it takes 10 mins. and is a big part of your season points.

i forgot....

I think it's kind of funny that a guy that "inherits" a top 25 team from the previous season will start ranked and that a coach at a new school has to start over. Some coaches get instant top 20 consideration no matter what school they are at....others have to fight back into the rankings every season.

If I see a coach that fought into the rankings at the previous seasons end and stayed at the school, Ill almost always rank him. This season it was Houston, BYU, etc

Lets use the Trendy's in stead of the Massey. I like where I reside in his poll.

Ah, the annual complaints about week ONE top 25 polls.

Good times.

The second poll opened and closed already?

Fuuuuck.

First two polls I missed (missed pre-season also) in about 3 years. This work schedule sucks.

And I'd make fun of that as well if done after week 2.

I give credit for both a good coach earning his Top 25 vote last season and keeping his team and a good coach that performs with Team A, then takes over Team B, while factoring in how those 2 teams would compare with that coach. A good example would be someone like Champ, who I'm pretty sure i gave some props to based on his work @ Minnesota, then going to South Carolina.

I have admit I am shocked to see people keep Texas A&M so high, granted this is a landmark event that I won my 1st two games of the season for a change  , but I cannot ever remember being ranked this high in past at any point. So even if it is misguided or lazy, thanks for the votes, I'll enjoy them till I drop like a rock later in the season.

I vote almost entirely according to schools, not coaches.

SMU is entertaining votes now. Don't think I've had a single vote since joining.
