I only responded to Buckeye because he was the first of the "Higher Powers" that responded.

And AJ, I don't think anyone is whining. Like I said, I got my vote in.
I just understand that something of that importance, that is a part of our points that we earn, should probably be in the announcement section.

Just my opinion though. Then again, what do I know, I only started this damn league!

also, I'm pretty sure the league gives everyone gimme's I mean, there is no way I voted in every poll and did every recap yet I got a 100% on my coaches reports. They are very lenient on the bullshit recaps. Then again I might have, doesn't matter either way b/c I am motha fuckin Tulane.

let's get offended and make it our fault that we should know that when the draft happens the polls open automatically. Where was that on the timeline? Dont make the lack of effort of letting the poll voting is open a whining and bitching issue. I voted and I am in no way whining...im just thinking that this league is good for a reason. We have a great deal of organization and to just pop the poll up without letting everyone know is kinda crazy.

Seriously, an email goes out for every poll...every single one letting you know poll voting has begun. The powers that be are not to blame for anyone missing the first poll, it's the users fault.

I'm sure everyone knew about the draft. How do they NOT know the polls will be shortly after?

I wouldn't say they are whining or complaining, I think LGF is just doing a bad job of suggesting a way of announcing the polls have opened on the boards that is a little easier to locate.

By placing it in the announcement area that is on top of every section, it will always be seen, when the poll is open for those NDL members that tend to miss it from time to time. Even when the admins or others attempt to bump the thread when it is a busy forum day.

Maybe make 1 Topic Post saying Polls Open Wk 2.. Have the topic locked, and just update the title each week a new poll opens.

there was also a twitter announcement to go along with the e-mail that went along with the forum post. The twitter announcement was also on the front page of the media website. Haven't checked the facebook. Shame on the admins if it wasn't on facebook as well.

Admins just aren't doing enough to get the word out there, lol.

how about we take some responsibility and blame ourselves if we missed a vote... The entire world has gotten so used to blaming others for their own mistakes. This is season 21 for crying out loud, voting announcements have been pretty consistent. If you missed it you have no one to blame but yourself.

Look an announcement is made, emails are sent. if one of you feels like further reminding everyone, then by all means, you are welcome to call guys, whatever.

Also, as far as commishes go, I would consider myself the all time king of "announcements"
