Starting jobs are locked up, with Wall, Curry, Jackson, Patterson, and Duncan giving us arguably the best starting 5 in the league. Great quick-release PG in Calderon, and terrific shooters in Casspi and Dudley off the bench, and Casspi might even steal more minutes from Patterson if he does well in preseason games.

oh my god
Patterson is trash and Wall isn't that good. Go ahead and play Casspi at the 4, you're ridiculous
surprised you don't have the entire Kentucky NBA roster like you did last season
PG - Conley
SG - Jones
SF - Anthony
PF - Battier
C - Lee
But, for games where our height in the post might be an issue things may shift to Anthony seeing time at SG:
PG - Conley
SG - Anthony
SF - Battier
PF - Lee
C - Turiaf
I like Douglas coming off the bench to play point or SG, McBob getting time at PF/C, and Rautins cheering in a track suit. Webster may also see time at SG. It is the clear weak spot for the team, though Jones was drafted to play D on the other teams top scoring guard more than anything else.
Carmelo is going to need to put up 40/15/5 nights for us to have a chance anyway, but hopefully it can be a fun squad regardless.

I'm going to have to play around with my lineups a bit to figure out what I want to do. About the last 10-12 games of last season I was going with almost a 5 in-5 out platoon system, with my all my second team guys getting about 10-12 mpg and I was getting decent results. If I decide to do that here's what I'll probably end up going with.
Starters
PG-Darren Collison
SG-Kevin Martin
SF-Francisco Garcia
PF-Chris Bosh
C-Ilgauskas
The Posse(in honor of those old Tulane teams from the early 90's)
PG-Telfair
SG-JJ Redick
SF-Josh Howard
PF-Chris Wilcox
C-Okur
with Novak and Evans getting spot minutes from time to time. I got some decent production out of Evans in limited time last season.
It goes without saying that I really don't expect to win 10 games.
The Lakers of the 80s had "Showtime"... the Lakers of NDLH2 will have "Primetime!" The lineup is filled with versatility and athleticism (not including Carlos "The Hitman" Delfino).
Projected Starters:
PG - B. Jennings (super fast, offensive threat)
SG - C. Brewer (lockdown defender, long-range potential)
SF - R. Jefferson (explosive leaper, great range)
PF - D. Favors (mini-Dwight Howard)
C - D. Howard (Genetic freak)
Key Reserves:
PG/SG - J. Flynn (similar to Jennings, has more hops)
SG/SF - C. Delfino (gunner)
SF/PF - L. Odom (Mr. Everything, will log starter level minutes)
PF/C - E. Udoh (Athletic / dynamic shot blocker)
The Other Guys:
PG - A. Bradley (lightning fast and excellent defender, could steal minutes)
PG/SG - J. Crawford (well rounded offensive player, promising potential... will dunk on Lebron again)
PF/C - T. Splitter (great value in the 12th round, semi-athletic shot blocker)
As a 1st year coach, our initial goal is to make it to the playoffs and break Kevin Durant's legs. Both may be longshots, but we'll get an A for effort.
Seems to rebound well and block from the backside. I was more worried about getting a 9 man rotation instead of an 8. If I go 8, then Odom goes to starting PF, Favors into the Reserve PF/C role and Udoh gets bumped. It'll come down to matchups I think.
This is how things are going to go down in Toronto. Everybody is going to share their minutes. Since we are a Canadian based team we are only going to have hockey subs... i.e. line changes. As of now this is how it will look with both squads getting close to even minutes.
Starting 5
PG - Patty Mills
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF - Terrance Williams
PF - Paul Milsap
C - Greg Monroe
Second 5
PG - Ramon Sessions
SG - Joe Johnson
SF - Marvin Williams
PF - Elton Brand
C - Joel Przybilla
On paper, loving this team way more than last season. I had not one solid bench player in season 1, basically goin just 5 deep.
This season, I feel like I have 8 solid guys.
PG- Chris Paul
SG- Aaron Afflalo
SF- Corey Maggette
PF- Ersan Ilyasova/Al Harrington. Gonna have to figure that one out
C- Chris Kaman
Key reserves:
PG- Keyon Dooling
PF- Brandon Bass
PF-C- whoever loses the starting battle between Harrington/Ilyasova
3pt specialist- Sasha Vujacic. Hoping he can provide some outside shooting off the bench.
