budgeting

we were gonna blow our 2011 budget (which we have been AWESOME at all year) and splurge but realized if we just did vegas, we can still come in at or under budget so far for the year since we're ahead of where we wanted to be

gonna save cali for next year prolly...maybe even early enough in the year to hit tahoe or some places i can go skiiing since ive never been and want to go

you finally picked a non OU TX weekend. If I have the money I will be there, I will not confirm this until i have a thousand or so in savings OT here I come.

So far, I am reading possibly ten people will be present in Las Vegas, Nevada this time. Should be an interesting bunch of guys this time around! Trendon, you going this time?

ha i was thinking the same thing.

I'd like to go, just not sure i can fit it in my schedule cuz i have no idea what i'm going to be doing with my life soon.

If I can make a suggestion, go to the wynn for the sportsbook action and I also liked the Venetian a lot too

where are ytou guys staying and what are prices like for hotels? I mean, for me, would it be smart to get airfare and just get a hotel room when im there? or book ahead? should i use like expedia? I am looking and i see flight/room for that duration at like 500-700. is this too much?

nick, talk to oldschoola or the NDL:F guys and see if anyone has room in their room for you.

If you can room with a group, it is much cheaper.
If 4 of us are in a room, it is like $100 per person total for our hotel.

Then you have just your own airfare.

My flights so far look to be around $300...so it is going to cost me $400 total besides gambling money and food and drinks.

And this I know.

But if she has a girls trip lined up that would be fanfreakintastic. She is good about "big purchases" but being scorned for a Vegas trip may be the exception.
