Weirdest public NDL votes ever!!!

I"m not sure how Doc could've made his schedule any tougher
Again, wasn't calling anybody out, was simply making observations about how.....interesting, diverse, etc the voting was. Stop taking everything so seriously man!![]()
How are them Bruins doing?

Thank you shel for summing up my thoughts. I really didn't want to make a post because I don't feel like rambling. Some headscratchers, some oddities, some casualities, but it is what it is.shel311 wrote:Weirdest public NDL votes ever!!!
UclaMac wrote:Whos to say they did or didnt? Based on the system that the NDL has created, the system asks coaches to rank the teams in the coaches opinion. Each coach expressed his opinion and like it or not thats it. So what someone got screwed out of a bowl or a spot. Maybe that team should have made a tougher schedule or won a game they lost and not left it up to the voters. My point is that everyone that voted using the system that the NDL created did their job, and its not fair for you or anyone else to criticize their efforts, cause at the end of the day they did what the NDL said for them to do and that was vote.jsence2 wrote:UclaMac wrote:jsence2 wrote:A few observations....besides the biggest being that Pitt was left off two ballots (that's just....wow)
* I'm ranked in the top 9 on 11 ballots, and unranked on 11 ballots. Go figure
* Multiple people put Houston on their ballot ahead of me, some of whom even left me off of it....
* VVV voted me 21st, and Nick voted me 25th; I have to give credit where it's due, I figured they'd leave me off completely.
* A few people voted for me ahead of Texas and even South Carolina....I can't condone that at all
* Multiple people put 9-3 Southern Miss (whom I beat) ahead of me
* Almost every person who left me off their ballot has either had a personal issue with me at some point, or just simply dislikes me for an unknown reason....but all voting is done fairly
* The same person who put Nevada #1....put me at #2. I'm even more dumbfounded than I was earlier. How do you put either of us ahead of Oregon, Pitt, or about 8 other teams???
So all in all, I'd say the voting in here is....interesting.
Do you spend most of your day thinking about yourself, or just do it on the forums? Maybe theres a reason why people dont like you, or maybe most are like me and just get annoyed with all your posts about yourself.
I'm sorry, I'll break down the voting for everybody then. Would that make you happy? They were OBSERVATIONS, not complaints, not me talking about myself, they were OBSERVATIONS from me spending 5 min looking at who voted where. Some of which were about me feeling I was ranked TOO high. I just simply hoped people would take time and vote with care, some people (not me) were clearly effected by the voting.
And KDog you didn't really make any glaring mistakes that I could see. Voting was tough this year, it took me over an hour to do mine. Some people took 2-3 hours. Just some of the things (as Doc said) make you shake your head. Oh well....I'll enjoy the game with Arkansas, should be a fun game!

You are correct Bruin but my schedule couldnt have been any harder. I should have won 1 more game. I hope you arent implying that I care one way or another. I been in this league for every season just cracked 100 wins last season so bowl game or not Im playin for fun. Im just shocked and amazed by some of it. You really cant belive the last line you wrote. In case you for got these are boards. A place to put down an opinion whether you like it or not. Jsence had a great season he can feel like he got robbed a little. If you beat Oregon do you think you should have been in the NC talk? If you werent you would be quiet about it? I doubt it. If Jsence post about himself why say it annoys you? The NDL has gave him a forum to speak why complain? Just like we shouldnt criticize the voters.
Not really a good answer to the problem though that I can even imagine. I personally am a bit embarrassed that I see that I left Ohio State off my poll, not sure how I missed my own conferences champion when votingBlock M wrote:Not to beat a dead horse into the ground but voting....WOW.
If people are going to abuse it, they should lose it.
Maybe not, and I cannot blame anyone for forgetting a team. I'm sure it's happened to 90% of the people who have voted but there are polls this season that go a little further than just forgetting to place a team in their poll.fsupenguin wrote:Not really a good answer to the problem though that I can even imagine. If people are going to abuse it, they should lose it.. Also don't forget guys, we do have a tournament every season giving everyone a fair chance, so do we really need to even talk about have a 4 team playoff/plus 1 or anything like that?
True. Also can you believe no one voted for Minnesota at all!Block M wrote:Maybe not, and I cannot blame anyone for forgetting a team.
