Getting my 4 year old this new interactive game for Wii, called "Skylanders GIANTS"... You put these little monster characters on the "Portal" (a wireless sensor pad of sorts) and that character pops up on your screen for you to control. I'm really not sure what the point of the game is yet, but he freaked the hell out when he saw the commercial for the first time. I'm guessing it's an expensive game though, because each one of these little "GIANTS" costs $10!

Video games have come a LONG ways, in more ways than graphics! lol..

Times are tough in healthcare. Had to make some cuts and the lawn was a cost savings measure.

looks like my 12 yr old will get the Google Nexus tablet at $249 and my 9 yr old the Nabi2 tablet at $199. Guess I will be borrowing from my daughters since I don't have one :cry:

iPad best hd screen available, everything is comparable.

The same functions that you will use it for,videos,Internet,email.

Settling for cheaper is based on the speed and screen of the ipad

depends on age really. Nabi2 is great for 6-11, great reviews from what I have read.

look into the Google Nexus7 pretty good @ $249. The Nabi does say 4-40 but looks more for kids. 12 is a tween so probably the Google or even Samsung Galaxy @ $199
