I like this one.

Also, wouldn't your webinar draft fix this issue as well, since we wouldn't use the utility? Or is that drafting system a no go?
you would like it, you're in line for #1 next year

I like #3, these guys should be eligible, they are eligible. I shouldn't lose out my chance to draft the guy I want, who with my luck, probably won't sign with me anyhow.

I would say the game should be the master list, no? They are NOT eligible in the game, so I would argue that they should not be eligible.

Strong start as a co-commish...

- piss off big market teams with the financial mess... check
- piss off teams drafting in the top of the draft by suggesting we reduce the draft pool.... check
- piss off trendon by screwing up his team with the financial mess and not coming to him first with this "problem"..... double check

Anyone have a dog I can run over?

I need to stop trying to live in a utopian OOTP world.

Apologies to all those around specially trendon.

shit, I am doomed now, everyone knows you don't lose an argument ;)

I would counter that it is a flaw in the game. 21 year old juniors are allowed in the draft. Whoever developed the utility knew that, that is why the utility extracted them and has these guys listed. It's not like we're talking freshmen and sophomores. We should find a way to work around it , if possible, as we have done it this way for 5 seasons or disable draft signings and bonuses like it was on OOTP 10. Or the utility is basically useless as you can't auto-pick since they may pick a junior that is not "eligible".

But whatever, it's not end of world, I would just like to draft guy that is A) best available in my opinion , B) should be eligible and C) already popular locally for my team.

why dont we just scrap the draft $$ system. I mean, we did 5 seasons without it before, why add it now. if its gonna fuck shit up, i'd rather the old approach where they just go to our minors.

If it simplifies things. plus thatd give us teams an extra $5-10 mil instead of spending it on a player with 50 potential

Everyone settle down (for now). It is likely a setting issue or, maybe, because - if you recall - I posted the draft list a while back; maybe guys weren't 18/21 yet. Remember the problem we are having with StatsLab not being 100% functionable that I mentioned. Could be that, too. Weekends are bad for me as I manage a 125,000 square foot restaurant/facility; I haven't had time to look.
