oops forgot he was your conf....BUT I made a commish call giving u the points for that champ since your only loss was a sim loss to marshall. Mark has been busy and had a few sims so i didnt think that was fair to ya so u got the points

Here are the rules.

You must start at a non bcs school rated "c" or lower

after that you are free to accept new jobs offers as they come in.

Coaches will get

2 points for each win while coaching a non bcs conf team.

3 points for each win while coaching a bcs conf team.

20 points for winning a non bcs conf

40 points for winning a bcs conf

100 points for a NC.

1st one to 1,500 "wins"

I didn't know so I checked and I think there's a couple other new guys as well

the taking offers part was before we realized EA forgot to build in the offering of new jobs in online dynasties.

How will we work this? Just take whomever we want or set something up.

An idea would be to let highest points pick first and move on down. You can choose to stay or leave. If you stay your points rollover to the next season and you will pick accordingly.

Just a thought.

Then to make it more complicated. If you finish with a losing record you cant take a top level team. We'd have to determine star level.

Again, just throwing out ideas. It doesn't look like any of us are transfering to a new team but when we do a system should be in place.

Keep in mind our goal here as I throw out my ideas.

We want to play a LONG career. Barring ry and his magical season....getting to a BCS game or NC should be an accomplishment.

I dont think we want people going from Air Force to FSU in 3 years.

SO..at the risk of Riccio f'in with me, here's what i think.

***You can "change" schools every 3 seasons only (thats when ea is SUPPOSED to fire you, offer extensions....barring the early extension offers)

***If you change schools, you can NOT go to a school with a record in the previous season of 6-6 or better. (the idea here is realistically u dont go become the head coach of a 10-2 BCS team...usually)

***Selection order will be based on our regular points method..applying the points from that 3 year block.

2 points for each win while coaching a non bcs conf team.

20 points for winning a non bcs conf
40 points for winning a bcs conf
100 points for a NC.

***You wil be fired for a record of less than .400 after your 1st 3 seasons from any non bcs team (and you have to go to a school with a lower star rating than what u started at with the school u were fired from). after the 1st 3 seasons, you must maintain a wining percentage greater than .500

***you will be fired for a record of less than .500 after your 1st 3 seasons with a BCS team, for all subsequent 3 season blocks after, you must maintain a winning percentage of greater than .650 to remain employed.

So since Mikey elected to stay at Ball State wouldn't that be like signing a contract extension? I don't know many schools that offer coaches 1 year deals ...make him suffer in the MAC

yes but schools also offer an extension in the middle of current contracts ie, in year 3 of a 5 year deal they may extend the total contract to 8 years giving him 5 more years from the current spot.

Its EA, its us trying to make it somewhat realistic and yet fun. relax and go with it
