Re: "You'll See!"
I don't follow?
Making them right would be all of the shitty things in their life they have stopped doing or miserable about and me hating looking forward to that.
Me being excited for him to come and get here is quite the opposite,no?
Your off lately on your theories

Re: "You'll See!"
you'll see = no more freedom or doing anything "fun" cause of the kid
corey = extreme jubilation cause of the kid
dunno how they even go together..

Re: "You'll See!"
What I mean - and I wasn't being a dick - is that they say you'll see to this and that. Now, coming from a non-parent who has seen so many people go from not even giving a flying fuck about kids (and even scoffing at other people's stories about their kids) to suddenly you talking about your future child very often (and, again, I swear I am not being cynical or a dick.) This leads me to believe that, yes, you will see.

Re: "You'll See!"
I honestly dont think I talk about him that often, especially here.
I posted because its a pretty cool milestone to know how much he weighs and a possible birth weight.
Ill take my happiness somewhere else...and Im not being a dick either.

the only thing "you'll see" is how awesome being a dad is. People who say you'll see are miserable because they clearly fucked up lol.

Re: "You'll See!"
I'll admit there is an adjustment period. I wasn't in the NDL when my boy was born, started when he was two, and it's only gotten easier. I can't imagine trying to do something like this when I was working overnights and on the day shift with a newborn...
It's a cakewalk now that he's hooked on the Wii.

Nick talking out of his ass, yet again. I am starting to come around on what all of you are talking about with him. You just missed the fun I had with that chick on Facebook. I am still hitting on her and she is still taunting me.
And, no, I don't want kids. No interest whatsoever. I am vain, arrogant, and entertained enough. It is my opinion - and I expect a lot of backlash on this - that kids are for people who lead boring lives and/or have an intense need to have a replicant of themselves. I don't. I am perfectly happy in my own little world and the only way I'll ever have a kid is if I fall in love so badly and it comes down to an ultimatum: I have a kid or she leaves and I conclude that her leaving is negative value compared to procreating.

In Trendon world, there is never a middle ground.

Re: "You'll See!"
While I somewhat agree, I still want someone around to take care of me when Im old and can no longer do so myself (not a fan of the idea of spending my last days in a nursing home)trendon wrote: And, no, I don't want kids. Hush. You lead a boring life and have an intense need to have two replicants of yourself.shel311 wrote:In Trendon world, there is never a middle ground.

Re: "You'll See!"
My child was procreated when I was young and dumb, and allowed myself to be entrapped by the babymoms... interestingly enough, life has gotten more interesting since I had a kid, mostly due to the fact that I grew a pair and decided to take care of him, go back to school and make more money, which also enables me to travel more.

Re: "You'll See!"
On something that affects me? Yeah, no, there isn't. This isn't a debate, discussion, or an argument.shel311 wrote:In Trendon world, there is never a middle ground.
Re: "You'll See!"
Definitely thought of, but again, very selfish; right or wrong. Still don't know if that warrants all of the rest. In fact, I am very open on the option of adopting. There are plenty of healthy children of all ages that live in the worst environment possible. It is rather arrogant - and take that from me - to bring more people in the world just so they look like you.Weasel wrote:While I somewhat agree, I still want someone around to take care of me when Im old and can no longer do so myself (not a fan of the idea of spending my last days in a nursing home)trendon wrote: And, no, I don't want kids. If you ask me, adopting is one of the more noble things you can dotrendon wrote: In fact, I am very open on the option of adopting. You're right. It's none of those because your statement is too dumb to be worthy of debating.

Actually I'm not.trendon wrote:Yet, you're debating with me. Don't post when you wake up, it doesn't suit you.
You shouldn't be posting after pulling a double at the gokart tracks. It doesn't go well.
Re: "You'll See!"
One thing I have noticed about you lately (or maybe I just never noticed) is that you tend to just insult someone when you don't have shit else to say, like one of your ugly cunt-ass ex-girlfriends. What is going on with that, because it is honestly fucking annoying and makes me want to kill you in front of your wife and kids.
