Hilarious you said that. I said to her I need to get some earplugs and she gave me the look of death as it was so insensitive.
I'll be picking up a great pair shortly

If she's doing all the feedings you have nothing to worry about
When I went back to work, I'd basically go to sleep pretty early. Then let Lacy feed the boys around 11 or so.
Then I'd wake up and take the 3am shift so she could get a decent bit of sleep strung together. So I'd be up from 2-3 or 3:30 or so them back to sleep before work.
Then on off days, we'd just reverse it.

Question for the guys with boys.
Little Cal's back seems to always be wet. I'm assuming it's pee but no idea how it continues to happen?? It goes through diaper and outfit all over the cover we have in the bassinet.
I read it's possibly because his thing isnt pointed down after changing? Also heard its because vasoline for the circumcision causes like a waterproof barrier?
You guys run into this and what did you do? Very annoying

I had to remind J that "its not gonna fall off so you dont have to hold it" for about 6 months before he stopped (well, at least in public or in front of people)

6,7, and 8?
My dudes hold it relentless in the tub at 1.

Big screw up by the NDL for none of us mentioning that baby boy rule #1 is ALWAYS POINT IT DOWN.
I'll take the blame, that one's on me.
In general, it happened with us as well. Not every time or seemingly as much, but when they were that little, I think they just pee a lot or something lol.

The pointing down rule is huge! Damn you guys!!!!
Did it last night and bam, dry baby! Hilarious
I'm just glad the circumcision healed nicely. I couldn't handle that poor fella and that purple pain!

Ah man, that's too funny.
IT's funny that there's so many things that NOW I think are common sense and you should just know, like to point it down, but in reality I had no clue about that shit either at the time.
I owe you guys a few rounds of washing sheets and onesies LOL.

I was like we are going to be doing a shit load of laundry. Didn't even know if it was pee because it didn't smell. Thought it was sweat
It's like I've seen a whole new light as he has been dried now every time! So awesome

Either AJ is the best dad in the world, or he has done this more than twice.
Just got back from his 2 month old shots/checkup and the doc asked about his sleeping. We told him he is pushing 4, 5 hours from midnight on.
He goes 2 words, ear plugs.
Put him down after eating at midnight, make sure his diaper is clean, shut the video monitor off, and put in your ear plugs. He then looked at Cathy and said, not you. You still are off work.

Not sure where the humor is... got one too. It's great. About the size of my cell phone and I can take it anywhere in the house / outside while she's in the crib.

I have 2 of em
Though at this age, we don't use the video part any more, just the audio portion. Even that was a struggle with the wife and a recent development.

Yea, our video monitor looks like an iPhone. Color and all.
We got it with a gift card.

told you man!!! my kids are 8 and 11 and i still use those damn ear plugs once in a while when i need some solid sleep.
One thing i learned about babies, and im not an expert by any stretch, 99% of the time when they are whining and bitching all they are looking for is attention.
and im sure you guys are like most good parent and give Cal allllll the attention he could ever want for...
i distinctly remember thinking i wanted to cry when we finally made my 2nd son sleep through the night.
step one is if she cant completely shut the monitor off, she's got to at least turn it down so you can only hear him if he does that baby blood curdling cry....
