You just complained about not having the book while playing...
That too.

fuckkkkk i swear i undestand like 10% of the games capabilities.
I blame the lack of an actual manual.
I noticed today that you like to place blame... Didn't expect that from a hard working logical dude like yourself
You're the least likely person to take anything literally, so stop.

Besides, to blame is simply to place the responsibility for something on a specific source. There is nothing wrong with it when correctly used.

In this case, I can definitively report that 2-3 years ago when they still had a manual that you could hold in your hands and read easily while playing the game, I knew what buttons did what and how to do all the little audibles, hot routes, spotlights, shifts, etc. Now that the entire useful manual is only electronic in the game, and you can't be looking at the manual while you're also in practice mode trying things out, understanding of the game and the nuances of all of the options is a much more complicated scenario.

Basically, EA is getting lazy. They "add" all this content each year, but when you pick up the game to play there is no true tutorial, nothing that shows you how to utilize the various options of playcalling, audibling, and hot routing in an interactive fashion. There is also no set of instructions that you can read while you play. They've made it harder for people to realize the full potential of their game all for the sake of saving some money on printing.

And, they've suffered for it, as the number of people playing NCAA online every year seems smaller and smaller (outside of our league).

I believe that other people here would agree.
