Zone and man both work, much more evenly than in years past, I expect we will see fewer ints next season.

now, I wouldn't go that far..VTrunNgun wrote:+1fsupenguin wrote:Zone and man both work, much more evenly than in years past, I expect we will see fewer ints next season.
Agree, no way. We'll see just as many this season.6ftdeep wrote:now, I wouldn't go that far..VTrunNgun wrote:+1fsupenguin wrote:Zone and man both work, much more evenly than in years past, I expect we will see fewer ints next season.
Agree. Defense jumped leaps and bounds post-patch. Happy to have functional zone back.6ftdeep wrote:zone is not that bad.. maybe because Im Oregon but I played about 75% to 80% zone D, and I would manage to get stops.. I managed to give up big plays as well, but I actually feel Zone played the run way better then man.
People aren't going to learn and get better? I know I am, I am throw way less ints than I did early on. Granted I lapse at times, but it's like every 10 games I have issues as opposed to every other game.Wasted Memory wrote:Agree, no way. no I mean man and zone are not evenly balanced.. there is a reason a people tend to play more man this year, and why people throw more picks into man.. that mirror coverage is no joke when it kicks in.. I m serious when people start falling back on man defense cause they ran up against some who can read a zone coverage. and you mess up and throw a pick on a drag, slant, or post/ corner post cause it looked open.. unless you are willing to abuse the same routes all game .. you gonna continue to threw picks.. or you better run with the qb..fsupenguin wrote:People aren't going to learn and get better? Sounds like my D setup.......smh.LetsGoPeay wrote:My DBs were so bad that I couldn't rely on one type of defense over another. My only hope was that the other guy would be confused by what he saw and either throw a bad pass or hold on to the ball for the minimum of 8 seconds that it would take my D-line or a blitzer to get to the QB.
