The Hoosiers are currently 34-8, 11-4 in the Big Ten. They're ranked in the mid-teens by all the polls. They've got a huge series this weekend with Nebraska that may decide the regular season title and #1 seed in the conference tournament.

The Peay is currently 32-13 but 3.5 games behind Jacksonville St. for the OVC lead.

I think Jim Morris has run his welcome out in Miami.

With the talent down there at those high schools it's no excuse why these teams have struggled as they have, especially offensively.

IU is probably going to have to pony up some dough to keep their coach. They were awful; just horrifically bad not that long ago and their field was basically a high school field. Now they've got a legit college baseball stadium to go with a legit baseball program. Luckily, the coach's son is a WR playing football at IU next year. Maybe that will help keep him around.

LSU finally came back to life a little bit dropping 2 of 3 to South Carolina I believe it was last weekend.

LSU is 41-6 on the season, ranked 3rd nationally, and 17-5 in the SEC which is good for first in the West but 2nd overall. Vandy is 19-2 in SEC play, impressive.

The D1 Baseball site is back up and functioning properly. They had to move servers.

Our conference tournament has been crazy. UTSA advanced out of pool play by beating the top seed today and play for a chance to go to a Regional tomorrow against either Dallas Baptist or UT Arlington.

The winner might end up at LSU for the Regional ...

After we lost to LSU, our bats went silent and we were never the same. Went from ranked 7th in the nation, to out of the SEC tournament and likely the NCAAs. Unreal. We had arguably one of the toughest schedules in the nation over the last seven weeks which didn't help either.

Weekend Series:
at LSU (currently ranked #2)
Tennessee
at South Carolina (#17)
at Ole Miss (were ranked #23 in last week's poll, 15th when we played them)
Arkansas (#14)
Vanderbilt (#1)
Missouri

6-15 for those series, total meltdown.

We also had individual games in there vs Indiana (#12) and Louisville (#10).

UConn has won two BIG EAST tournaments in school history (1990 and ’94) and has now advanced to the championship game in four of the past seven years. The Huskies will also be looking to make the NCAA tournament for the third time in the past four years.
UConn is the #8 seed and ND is the #7. UConn is the only school to ever be an 8 seed and make the finals, they also did it a few year back and ND is the first #7 ever to make it.

Having already won the regular season title, the Hoosiers cruised to the championship game of the Big Ten tourney but lost to Nebraska 7-6 in 11 innings. Nebraska started their normal closer and got 6 strong innings out of him. The two teams play today at 1 for the title. Indiana has an outside shot at being a national seed in the NCAA tournament but that may have slipped away last night

47-10 and ranked in the top 5. Out of the ACC champ game and waiting for a national seed.
