I dont watch much TV and when I do its 1 show during dinner with the Mrs.
If it were my call Id probably play something too, but with the lady its something we like to do together (that sounds kinda pathetic, but its true). Ive heard Last of Us has great cinematography, maybe I can convince her to 'watch' the game while I play
I think the major point for me is that she is usually in bed by 10ish and provides the gaming time to be freed up. If she is up, we watch shows. So I hear ya.

Yeah I'm currently working the Battlefield campaign right now so I can unlock some guns for multiplayer. I haven't touched the COD campaign, will need to play that before I get rid of the game.

I am looking for another game on the PS4, but not a lot to choose from. I read the reviews for both, but I was never a Tomb Raider or Killzone fan. Just wanted to see if any of you guys played them...
Killzone looks great and, after I got used to the controls, it plays very nice for an FPS. I don't play online though, just the campaign. I got it in the bundle I bought, so I'm not sure I would have bought it otherwise. Unfortunately, the ability to rent games is just about gone, otherwise I'd say if you have anyplace around that rents games, I'd consider renting it first for a few bucks.

If you'll be getting $60 back by returning it, I'd have to say return it. You'll be able to pick it up for $30 in the near future (it's already $40 new, $38 used at Gamestop).

Tomb Raider was excellent. Killzone a giant disappointment.

I returned Killzone & Tomb Raider for $59.99 each, and put some of the money down for MLB 14: The Show and Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. I am not a Killzone or a Tomb Raider fan either, so I did not want to start something and not finish it. Thanks for the reviews guys, but I guess I will wait for the games I know I will be interested in.

Just mentioning, in case you weren't told or didn't know, that MGS: Ground Zeroes is not a full game. It is basically an extended/long demo of the next MGS game for the PS4. Sort of a prologue.

Various outlets reported that the main story portion of the game would take only about 2 hours to complete.

That's why it's just $30.

Yes, I was explained that it was not a full game. Thanks, I am still attempting to finish the first Metal Gear game on the PS3. I have a long way to go.

Currently trying to tackle Knack and finish it.

Game is long as hell surprisingly.

Knack-PS4-I actually enjoyed this game as it brought me back to the Crash Bandicoot type games and a very simple process for attack and low variety. It was surprisingly long, 13 levels. Took about 6 or 7 sessions to get it done. It does have a very high level of monotony on how you approach enemies and levels but the boss battles are solid and it looks amazing as the first PS4 title by SONY. It has gotten some very bad reviews but I honestly didnt think it was that bad for what it was going for. 7Cs

Smart As
-PSVita-This is a good time killer of multiple types of puzzles and quizzes geared towards enhancing your brain use and exciting your thoughts. I got bored with it pretty quick but worth giving a try if you really enjoy word puzzles and other puzzle type games. 5Cs

Played about 2 hours last night on the campaign. Looks better than any other next gen games Ive played so far but not sure it will be keeping my interest. Seems like a very lame story line thus far.

It's very disapponting.

Weasel wrote:I may have to start checking out some more of these games for the PS3. I dont know how far into Last of Us I am, but its probably the best game Ive played. Really, really, well done.

While I really enjoyed Bioshock Infinite, I felt like the story was way over my head. I know it was considered a prequel, but not having played the previous versions undoubtedly contributed. I was 3/4 of the way through before I had a clue what was going on story-wise
I had to watch a 20-minute video on the plot to have it explained to me ... and I'd like to think I am fairly intelligent. I was fucking drooling every time I tried to figure it out on my own.

Graphically it looks amazing but yes, I can see where the game and story are very underwhelming and may not waste much more time on it.

Played a little more last night and I am about to jump ship. Its very boring, nothing stands out as a great campaign, and I just dont really like FPS games at all anymore. You were dead on.

I got about halfway through Last of Us and got distracted or something and never finished it. I'm getting as bad as Corey with games.

Its worth a revisit.

I have probably completed more games on the PS4/Vita then my entire time on the PS3. Gamefly has helped and not rushing to get through some of these games has been fun.

I would but I had it as part of Ted's Free Rental series. I had to delete it to have space for GTAV.

Killzone:Shadow Fall-PS4-Got through about 60% of the campaign and couldnt force myself to waste more time on this game. Graphically it might be the best PS4 game to date in terms of detail and landscape. Gameplay was pretty terrible, storyline is obsolete and disappointing, and I am not a FPS fan at all for the most part. 5Cs on the Cnasty scale
