I wouldn't worry about it, you won't have enough money to even click on the FA tab til about 2039
Thanks for taking my point and making a terrible joke out of.

yayy
How'd a guy void and you resigned him in the same sim?
you click "offer extension" he tells you what you want, you offer him something else, he replies "i like that i'll sign", you click Submit offer and it's done. He's still my property like any other person who's contract is expiring this yr so i can ask for responses and change it up. I'm gonna regrey year 3 im sure but fuck it
Guys don't always agree to that deal.

Nick and his poor little digital slaves, he only sees them as "property"
Funny, I was thinking this exact same thing!

You'd have to be a slave to be forced to wear those hideous uniforms, all looking like cotton candy at the fair.

What's the word on the few Winter Meetings topics we had?

Free agency is starting up soon, so these should go into effect soon I'm guessing.

I updated the League Rules thread and will bump that thread so people see it.

Winter Meeting topic #1: Restricting Number of Options:
No, keep as is, which allows for 2 option years per contract

Winter Meetings Poll#2: Max dollars allowed on option years:
No more than 25% of the average yearly salary of all guaranteed years

Winter Meetings Poll #3: Mandatory buyouts on option years:
We should mandate that every option year(team/vesting) have a buyout of at least 25% of that year's salary

#2 above will now be in effect and will overwrite the original rule, which was:
- Team option years must be no more than 30% higher than the highest guaranteed year of a deal on amounts above $5M.

If all of this is correct, I updated the League rules section for player contacts to:

Player Contracts:
- Contracts are allowed to have 2 option years per contract
- Every option year(team/vesting) must include a buyout of at least 25% of that year's salary
- Max Dollars allowed on option years = No more than 25% of the average yearly salary of all guaranteed years

Is Juan Moreno and Juan Diaz the same person? I just assumed you were talking about two different people.

I lied.
Got pulled into more stuff at work.
End of the year is always busy in IT.
Tons of projects trying to jam all their shit in before the end of the year.

I am really working on this sim now.

Is it up? I do have some important contract offers that I need to get.

I didn't get an email yet though. I know there were stadium mods and maybe a trade or two?
