The poll had zero bias in it. I just wanted to see what others felt about the different consoles. Esp considering we may face the same decisions down the stretch. I do not hate the PS3. I do hate that Sony is shitting the bed with this thing. How many good games have there been? How many terrible lobby systems have we had to fight with to even get together for games? How many total disaster launches have there been because devs would rather beta test their games on the 360 instead of the PS3? Did they really waste 4 years developing Home?
I would rather be on the PS3 but I seriously wish it would improve. I rarely ever play my 360. I just don’t think Sony gets it.
As for the news that I post, I don’t search out those articles. They come to my Email as a google alert. Some days they are full of PS3 bashing and I only post 1 or 2 articles because they are redundant. Like it or not, the PS3 is struggling and that makes the news.
Hoos...You and I both know the question was a loaded one. If you wanted people's opinion on the consoles you could have asked that...but instead you asked whether we should have switched consoles.
And there have been plenty of good games. For my money MLB The Show makes the PS3 worth it on its own. Maybe to you HALO makes the x360 worth it.
Honestly, each console has a handful of exclusive games that are good. The rest are released for both consoles. You tend to play shooters exclusively. Nothing wrong with that, but it limits what you may experience.
Lobby systems and launches have sucked, but the launch failures cross both platforms.
Sooooooooo if we face the same decision, I haven't seen anything from you that is making the case that xbox was the way to go then or the way to go down the road. So that's why I am confused with the question. You yourself prefer the PS3, which is why I consider the poll stupid.
And despite your stupid poll you are still the cutest lil' Cavalier in the league.

Brocken, you ridiculous bastard. The poll was not biased. You’re just reading imaginary things into it.
As for why I phrased the poll the way that I did; there is a reason for my madness. I am tying the poll back to a pivotal moment in NDL history. It’s a flashback to a time of uncertainty. A time when we didn’t know if the NDL would survive thru the turbulent winds of change.
But, one man stood up and gave us that needed vision to navigate those meandering times. XBOX, PS3, or PS2? Our hero said PS3! Our hero told us that he would do everything in his power to assure the league would live on and prosper. We all raised up and paid that $600 bucks for a PS3 and the worst NCAA game in the history of NCAA football. And our hero………well……..he vanished. Maybe road off into the sunset is more fitting. He can be seen on Rock Band now having never played a single league game in the history of NDL: Next Gen.

Actually, I wanted to play NCAA 2008 on the PS2 (even after I bought the PS3) and make the jump to the PS3 for NCAA 2009. JeffMo and Nole made you play that horrible NCAA 2008 on the PS3.

I think it was up for debate for a bit...and I remember several guys saying they wanted to roll on the PS2...I seem to remember that, Dr. Tom even contemplated a PS2 mini league for those who couldn't afford the leap right away. But most of the founders were pro PS3.

Yeah had we not made the switch in 08 i would have never left with that said to have to play this game on xbox 360 would have drove me mad. ..

I have it.. i actually got the 360 first .. cant beat 200 dollors for a pro when they were still 350..
But i got my ps3 2 weeks later and really have not played the 360 since.. PS3 .. I happy but would have been happier to never leave and go BigMikes route.

The online has been very enjoyable this year for NCAA
with a little bump on the MLB at first but I think they fixed that

i think the 360 has better games, aside from NCAA, but i don't play them much.
The repair costs for the ps3 compared to FREE for the 360 are completely ridiculous and it makes me hate the ps3 and SONY.
...i'd like to see it on the 360, but i definitely don't want to pay for online or pay for a new system so fuck

We had our growing pains with the ps3 but it seems the league has made it passed them and will be better for it. And 2008 was the biggest pos ever released. I'd rather play Atari.
