my fav thing to say is "so i have this buddy on a old college football game video forum". they look at me and im like "...anyways so they say u should do this in this circumstance". this is my home i dont care what ppl think.

When I'm in the playoffs, they're smack dab in the middle of when I normally get home from work, help with the kids, and have dinner with the family (East coast time zone bias!).

That's about the only time my wife is annoyed with "my baseball thing". The rest of the time I can go online to make any changes after a sim once everyone in the house is asleep.

But playoff time - she doesn't like hearing about how my team came back from a 3-1 series deficit to force a game 7 or whatever, she just gives me a blank look and asks "So am I taking this trash out myself or are you going to get to it later?"

Once every couple months.

My wife hates video games, so she always rolls her eyes. Many arguments have originated from Madden, NCAA, CoD and now Fortnite

The wife says we are all nerds


She gets up this morning to take me to the airport and asks if I said bye to all my friends. I told her I said bye to Heartman, Todd and AJ.....Bama can suck a dick. She asked if that was Derek. I'm glad she actually listens to me and know who I shoot with

My wife has accepted it now, but at first, she thought we were all nerds.
She hates sports though in general and really can't stand when I tell her, sorry, have the playoffs tonight, or Madden draft, etc., nevermind the fact that I coach middle school football. That she will come and watch though.

Usually I just tell people it is my fantasy baseball team. Just much easier as people understand that way easier than trying to explain what ootp is.
