Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
so we let the CPU vote and clearly its retarded too. what the fuck?
Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
I think that the computer goes off of pure traditional offensive numbers based on the last few seasons. I don’t think war and any contributions from defense are factored in much
Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
i mean, Cuevas Win Probability Added was also the highest.

so Bowie is trying to explain to me why I need LH starting pitching and I just can't understand why it would matter which hand the dude throws from.

Not sure if/how much of a difference it makes in OOTP, but in real life, you want at least a few Lefties in your rotation/bullpen.Uuaww wrote:so Bowie is trying to explain to me why I need LH starting pitching and I just can't understand why it would matter which hand the dude throws from.
In real life, it changes the way pitches look to batters.
The easiest example is think of a curveball.
If the batter is batting right handed and the pitcher is right handed, a curveball comes at the batter than comes in over the plate with an arc like this )
If the pitcher was left handed, the pitch goes the opposite way (
So if you have a left handed batter, it is typically easier hitting off a right handed pitcher because the curves do not come at them, but are moving away from them.
It is why I was taught to switch hit from the time I was 5.
So as a batter, you can adjust based on the pitcher that is on the mound.

funny i generally understand a curveball but the difference between a curve, sinker, slider, splitter, screwball, etc. no fucking clue.
fastball, changeup and knuckler are super easy tho.
