You basically said so yourself. You said you did it because MLB did it, which is fine. But you didn't actually ever mention any pros for doing it.

I'd like to stay as close to MLB as we can. This is an easy one and really doesn't have any advantages or disadvantages to pass.

I seen Ted's post. And I don't see the correlation there. Weak teams are weak because they trade horribly and draft horribly. Why punish the teams that do both well? And how many teams really have that 1 extra guy that should be in the MLB that is getting sent down to AAA to save the Arb clock from starting, maybe 4 or 5 tops?

As far as the injury piece, it's been debated and decided on by the majority. If we set the injury setting to more like MLB the teams Ted is talking about has the advantage because they are deep teams.

Don't need to give a pro. I'm not debating this with you, I don't have the patience to debate with you over something stupid like this. I posted this to be in line with MLB.

Why punish teams who have built their teams up just so the teams who go auto from the 1st round in a draft have a chance at getting a guy in the waiver wire due to their own inept ability of managing a team? Billy shouldn't be punished for building the team he has by having to give up a guy potentially.

And what kind of guys are going on the waiver wire anyways? They are usually no better than 45 potential guys unless someone is trying to dump salary

I posted this in last seasons thread regarding this. Kdog beat me to posting the actual poll, I was waiting till winter meeting time in game (usually reminds me of the time to post polls).

As far as a pro, I don't need to give one. The con to not doing this is punishing teams that know how to build a team.
