I thought you all knew what you all were talking about when I was going to do this on rock band with you all and nole. So I pm nole and he says I have to keep his name on my system. That means they want that 1 user to download it, and then others using that system can use those songs. You all are doing something that violates policy, and is robbing the companies of there money.

You all are loop holing this shit.

Its 5 downloads for YOU on your machines.

Not everyone. When you have to load another persons name to download it. Its illegal.

They say you can download it 5 times for the purpose of households and multiplies playstations. It not for what you all are doing period.

Pay the fucking 10 dollars to the company.

Here is the official Playstation explanation of game sharing:

I purchased some downloadable game content on the PLAYSTATION®Network. Part of the product description says the content can be used or downloaded on up to five (5) activated PLAYSTATION®3 system units. What does that mean?

Answer
This means that the content that you purchased may be used by other users on an activated PLAYSTATION®3 system unit after you downloaded the content onto your PLAYSTATION®3 system unit. Some content may require the user to have a PLAYSTATION®Network account, and other content may require you to have additional game content that may be sold separately. For example, you may need to purchase a full game in order to use the character that you purchased on the PLAYSTATION®Network for the game. Please review the use restrictions associated with the content you purchased. The content may be played up on to 5 activated PLAYSTATION®3 system units at any one time. PLAYSTATION®3 system units may be deactivated so that you can change which PLAYSTATION®3 system units are activated at any time

Maybe I am wrong.

So answer me this.

Why do I have to keep that persons profile on my ps3. Or are the map pack downloads different in some way?

Its not really cleared up.

You need to google to get the exact answer but it goes something like this.......

You don't have to. Just copy the file that contains the MP to a jump drive. Log on with your account, copy from the jump drive back to your account.

There are differnt kinds of downloads. Or does this pertain to all of them.

I know I am late to this coversation.......but with as much money as musicans and these other companies make, I dont give a fuck if I go online and share shit with my broke ass friends who also work 50 hours a week. I will download any movie I can so I dont have to go give my money which I dont have to the fucking movie industry-those corrupt, dirty, money making dirty fucking slimebags that the law doesnt even pertain to.
