Here's what I drew up on my paper plate.
Every YEAR (not season), we will announce 3 Hall of Famers.
They all have equal merit and are all considered NDL "Hall of Famers" its just the path to get in can be different.
1st guy - Winning. Winning isnt everything but sometimes we do have to include it as part of the formula. The ultimate pick will come as a result of League wide voting but the nominees will be determined as follows;
A) The 5 coaches with the most career NDL wins will be on the ballot (excluding any current Hall of Fame members).
B) To be on the ballot, the coach must have a lifetime coaches report AVERGAGE above 93%
C) The league vote will be who among the 5, he who represents NDL best (all that stuff Georgegoons posted about integrity, leadership and etc)...which I imagine will be tough but that the vote
D) A coach is automatically in with no vote required for that season if it is his 5th time on the ballot
2nd guy - Coaches Reports
A) Minimum of 15 seasons required in NDL. (does NOT have to be consecutive)
B)If the highest score is among tied coaches, NDL Admins and that years commishes will vote to select the coach
C) Again obviously, amongst coaches not currently HOF'ers
3rd guy - League opinion
A) This has nothing to do with winning, nothing to do with coaches reports. Not really even really about the "video game" we play. This coach will be selected based on contribution to the league whether it be great scrims, great posts, great attitude.
In other words no minimum requirement.
B) ANY current or former NDL is eligible.
C) Anyone can make 1 nomination.
D) EVERY nominee will be included on the primary ballot.
E) The top 5 vote getters for the primary will be on the official ballot afterwards, with the winner of that being selected the HOF'er
F) For the 1st year we actually do this we will allow TWO HOF'ers from this category
*Coaches can "appear" on more than 1 ballot. If a coach does win a selection, his name will be removed from the results of any subsequent results (so if that coach were to win 2 slots, the 2nd slot (in order as listed above) will be vacated by him and the winner would be the 2nd most votes getting member)

So will the Hall of Famers get something special like an avatar or sig, an exclusive board they have access to (a la the Steve Martin 5 timers club on SNL), or just total and absolute dominion over the league?
