I saw one of PETA's nudie protests in Central Park. There were nothing but fat and ugly chicks there and there went their once chance at winning my favor.

I agree. But shouldnt PETA make a big deal about this?
Perfect time for them to do so. And since when is human life more important than dog life? Didnt God create us all equal...animals and humans? I mean that is what christians would say.
Did you just say the life of an animal is on par with that of a human? Please show me were God lists people and animals as equal, or I can save you some time and let you know that you will find nothing of the sort. If you want to go double check Genesis and show me what leads you to believe this I would be interested in seeing it.

Minus the whole spiritual thing, I am sort of on par with you. Obviously, humans are more important than a dog. As a pragmatic man, the dog had their chance, but it was us that rose to the top of the food chain and, thus, we should be rewarded with being the #1 concern.
However, almost paradoxically, I would generally look down on someone who killed a dog for self-gratification more than a human. Almost. Over centuries, dogs have grown to be here seemingly only to love humans and, worse, look up to us for requited love, affection, and care. So, beating them and killing them is not too different than assaulting an infant.
So, yeah, dog /=/ human, but when analyzing a human's behavior, killing dogs puts you pretty low on my fucking scale because with power comes responsibility. I believe your good book speaks about that and I am not being a dick.

Some people don't cry at all. Hell, I work in an ER, and every once in a while someone is told there wife or parent just died, and they don't cry. Does that mean they are any less sad then the ones that are screaming and running around like maniacs?
