florida vs cal . win or lose, florida will get the nod. they have been #1 for the entire season, playing in one of the toughest conferences, a conference championship game lose should not take away on matching up the 2 best teams over the entire 14 week season.

keep this in mind: Bigdyke and I had to play twice, First game I went up by 3 with 20+ seconds left only to have him tie it on a long FG and then have the game freeze up in between the end of the game and overtime. Second game I fell down 31-3 after 3 turnovers early in the first half...only to rally and lose by 7....

Just to state my case...

Personally I could never vote for someone that lost to an unranked team at some point in the season... Nothing against shell I think he is a very deserving canidate with a tough team..

NDL speaking, IF you take into account a game that disconnected(which basically never happened for all intents and purposes), then i think it makes sense to take into account that I beat BigMike, and was up 45-14 at the half for the NDL Cup.

Best match-up would be Florida vs Penn State. But with Florida and Cal undefeated that seems like the likely match-up. Cant see them both being 12-0 and not playing eachother. But if Florida losses thier conference champ game...then Penn State should get it.

Gotta give it up to Cal.

He took care of business, and even got all his games in despite having the broken PS3.

I was really hoping to see him play Arizona State because, well, i'm selfish and a loss would have helped my cause, lol. No offense Outlaw. But he got and deserved the sim win so you can't blame him there.

He's most deserving of the title spot at this time. And Mike has 1 win left til he is also deserving.

I think most of the league has its Shell blinders on.
1st I dont think you should ever take into account the NDL cup games...If so I made it to the final four...let me get a BCS bid.

2nd Steam took Big Mike to OT with a disconnect..then lost by 7. ( why didnt they just play the OT instead of the whole new game?)

So he didnt win his conf. but the SEC East is the toughest conf. if you go by the massey ratings. 3 teams in the top 8? The BCS dont say you have to win your conference...It says the 2 best teams play. So in this case the 2 best teams are in the same conf. (I fell this way even if its Cal and Fla in the title game.)
One team loses to the #1 ranked team the other loses to a unranked team that finished 3rd or 4th in the Big East....Come on this is a no brainer...Dont vote for who you want in there...but who should be in there. Think outside of the circle.

I just don't understand how you can say it's not right to factor in the NDL Cup, but it's ok to factor in a game that never really happened as far as the NDL goes.

I agree that Cup shouldn't factor into the regular season by the way, but my above point stll stands.
