Didnt realize UGA was snubbed on 6 ballots

Not saying it was intentional....but 3 CC's left me off their lists..after a discussion on the boards about the CC's I guess those 3 voted with a grudge or really felt UGA didnt deserve to make the top 25 or just made a mistake. Either way I doubt 6 votes make a difference....and Uaaww you brought the topic up and even mentioned UGA, yet you left me off your top 25 also. LOL! Oh well no biggie...I would hope the 6 that left me off was a mistake...cause my only 3 loses was to #1 Fla., #3 Tennessee and #6 Georgia Tech...with wins over ranked LSU, Oklahoma State, and FSU.

But its everyone's right to vote how they want, so great job to the 84 that did vote.

All around great season fellows enjoyed every game I played and hope there are many more to come. Good Job to AJ and all that help to make his first season a success.

Where's the Ank I've known so long, that would press this issue just alittle bit more? :D

Obviously no one HAS to explain why they voted the way they did and YES it's all for fun, but Uuaww decided to point out some of the unusual votes....and it's pretty hard to understand how a 9-3 Georgia team can be left completely off one's ballot, with no worse than the 19th best record and with what teams they lost to. Maybe certain voters don't like his gameplay or personality.....I certainly am not the only one that considers those things, in some fashion, as maybe a determining factor in raising or dropping a team alittle. There's a handful of guys that I've played and don't think much of how they play the game.....and while I wouldn't completely omit them, I knock them down a few notches. There's also a handful of guys that I've never played, but I've heard/read things about items they do or don't do, from guys I respect....and so they would get knocked down some. It works the other way too. Give alittle extra love to those that I know play the game, IMO, the right way.

So Uuaww, you started this SORT OF, so I challenge you to explain how you determined that Georgia didn't deserve to be on your ballot, when most people had UGA around the #10 slot. ;) Better yet, maybe bigmike has some strong opinion of what Ank did to HIM, to leave him off HIS ballot...wouldn't it be interesting to hear how GA doesn't make the cut with him. They always make it very clear that this is a "public" ballot, so people really think, before they vote. Okay, we did...and once again, the people that run the league should ALWAYS be the most accountable, in everything they do with the league.

This situation is more interesting, I think, than the love I gave the mid-majors, on my ballot!

Maybe we'll get lucky and this discussion will last awhile, with NDL Florida invading Vegas. Usually, they'd be crying like little schoolgirls about any bitching or controversy. Discussions like this are NOT going to be the downfall of the league, so no hard feelings, just a simple WTF on some voting decisions.

My bad Ank if I left you off. My father just opened a new pizza place in Boston (yesterday was the first day we were open) so the last few weeks, and especially these last few days, have been pure insanity (I am actually typing this message from his office). I once left Nole off of my final poll due to a mental lapse and I had to listen to him for weeks. If my brain had not shit the bed you would have been 11 on my poll ahead of Notre Dame and Southern Cal...and if I really hated you I wouldn't have asked you to help me down in the Farm.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to start shit with my post, just posting the irregularities and whatnot. As to how I left Georgia off, I dunno, kinda just happened. Its not like real voting where people do like 5th drafts. I did feel that California was more dominant in his wins than Florida. 3 teams were within a score vs Florida while only 2 did it vs California.
Honestly, why is this offending people? so GT gave mid-major love? we have like 80 voters, a few irregularities aren't going to matter that much.

lol, uuaaww all year blasts Nebraska for their strength of schedule, yet when it comes down to the last two undefeated teams, Florida has a Strength of victory of .556 and Cal has .458, and he gives the edge to Cal. :?

Not knocking, just find it ironic.

I was rushing and on 25 and was lost for who to put at 25 so I thought I'd throw Buffalo in for shits and giggles.

Walker had Penn State at #1
Nickwadden and teewade had Buffalo at #24 and #25 respectively
tig5165 and pounddarock ranked 5 loss Florida State #7
Georgia was as high as 6 on 3 lists, but unranked on about half a dozen
the donkeysho and jense didn't feel Illinois was worthy of a ranking
quest4gold didn't rank Notre Dame
Darkshdar didn't rank 3 loss Oklahoma State, but had Nebraska, the team he beat #8
Nickwaden voted himself, Purdue, 25th. His only vote
LytesOut had South Carolina 17th, its only vote

The most screwed up voting though belongs to GT25Ump who had a few classics. Western Michigan at #8, one above Tennessee at #9, 3 MAC teams, 2 Sun Belt, 2 MWC, zero Big East.
Is putting Penn State at #1 a bad decision?

And I like how you mentioned all of those, but didn't mention how some top ten teams were left completely off people's polls.

Honestly, I didn't put a lot of effort into this, and now knowing how pissed people get about it, I won't even bother doing it again.

I dont see why people got mad over the topic....In the NCAA people discuss the polls all the time. Shit if you left someone off your poll cause you dont like them...Just say it. It happens in real life all the time. This is a public poll...You knew people was going to ask questions.
I didnt ask one person out of the 6 who left me off their top 25..... Why?
I simply stated either they made a mistake, didnt think I deserved it or was holding a grudge about a previous topic.
Either way its a poll and its fair....I was just discussing a topic like they do in the real NCAA. I thought it was a great conversation starter...if some want to cuss and say its no one's business that is fine...if some want to talk about it...thats fine also.
Dont get mad at Uuaww, he has done alot for the NDL this season...when you guys was reading his Island report it was fun..Now he asked some personal question about the polls he turns into a ass. Great Job Uaaww...your the sports reporter of the NDL...some enjoy it, some dont...Either way keep up the good job.

I will admit mine was a total mistake. I had them in the mid teen range. And then I saw a team that I missed, and started putting teams back in and left them out by total mistake.

My fault Luis. It definitely was not intentional

Honestly I would bet most are by mistake...Its not like it is our job...I do mine in about 10 mins...and rarely double check.

And YES, Ive done that a couple of times where you see a team you left off then go back and try to place them in where they belong only to leave the team you replaced them with off.
