Now I just have to get the check which will probably take forever because it is the government. At least I will get a new TV out of the deal.
I'm sure you meant to say the taxpayers. However, I got it too, but not the same one. Mine was like an interest free loan paid back over 15 years.

I got the same thing. Put nothing down and got the low rate for first time home buyers years ago.

Worked out awesome.

I would strongly discourage you from purchasing a TV from Wal-Mart.

The model numbers aren't the same as the similar model at another store (which costs more) because the TVs Wal-Mart get are made specifically for Wal-Mart....with a lot less quality.

To recap on the washer and dryer hunt, we got an amazing deal at Lowes. They had the Samsung duo and a 4 day sale where you get both for $898!

We did the no interest for a year and they were barely advertising it. Will be delivered Monday.

I am thinking of upgrading monitors, does anyone have any of these:

Dellâ„¢ S2209W 21.5-inch Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor
Link
$159 (after rebates) original to $144

Dell - 20" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HD Monitor
Link
$159 original to $99

Acer - 20" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD Monitor
Link
$139 Original to $79

I am thinking of possibly doing the dual monitor thing as well, so the acer you can get 2 for the price of the bigger Dell monitor. Any input would be appreciated.

Got it for 79 or 89 as well last year.

Then my desktop crashed now it just sits pretty on my computer desk.

Good news: Wal-Mart will match ANY PRICE of an identical item sold in another store, in print ads....meaning the $40 EA games at Best Buy, etc you can get at Wal-Mart....on top of some of the ridiculous sales that WM is throwing.

Bad news: It's Wal-Mart....on Black Friday.....

Anybody in here willing to risk their lives in that madhouse? I'm thinking hard but am leaning towards the "no"....
