6 fumbles, 1 facemask penalty?
I think 4 TDs over 60yds in the air.
Yeah, Heisman. Wow.
True, but it was fun as hell, lol.
And a LOT of college games in real life are wacky with crazy things happening.
That was a helluva game.

So do we have a definite rule on "chew clock"? I'm currently up 31-7 in the third quarter... When should I use it?

No definite rule yet Walker.
The buzz has been basically, if you're up 28 in the 2nd half at any point, you can turn it on. Or late in the 1st half if you wanna run the clock out, final 1 or 2 minutes.
Not to speak for the entire NDL, but in talking and seeing posts, that was the general conclusion I came to, but no definitely rule in place yet.

I like to use it to ensure I have the ball last at the end of the first half. If I get it with under 2 minutes I turn it on, even if I'm down. It is actually my most effective defense, they cant score if I have the ball last at the end of the 1st half.

I have admit I am very confused why people are so big on running clock when we play only 6min quarters. Few things truly irritate me more, if someone does it to me I have to take time to cool off before sending in my coaches report from the game so ensure I give a fair score and don't just type in 1's and 2's lol. Seriously though win or lose I really hate it in any situation other than being down or up by 35.

If you're a superior team and up 21 or more, do you think it'd be okay to use it the entire second half?

I 2nd this one. The run clock thing is pure vomit when you are playing with 6 minute quarters.
"I only used this if I am under 2 minutes in the 1st half" Well in real life, that is 5 minutes left in a 15 min quarter game. This should only be used if you are up big in the 2nd half.

For the guys against it, would you have a problem if you were up by 7 to 14 points at the end of the first half and the guy losing uses it with under 2 minutes? I use it as a defensive strategy so I'm not giving the opposing team 45 seconds to hit a deep post again on me to put them in FG position or worst yet giving up the TD>.

I dont have a problem with the feature.. as long as used realistically ..
See I hate when people run clock for the sake of running clock.. Last year I played someone who used a ball control offense with the combination of running the clock.
Drove me crazy, beyound crazy.. I hate it to a passion. I generally will have a fast pace to my offense and playcalling as long as I can find the play I want.. Unless I just am not sure of what to do.
In terms of this feature I see it fine to use if you are up big in the second half.. or winding down the clock with 2 mins left and have the ball. Please I rather you turn this feature on then manully running down the clock and I have to sit there.
I dont see a problem either if the team losing with less then 2 mins left at the end of the 1st half turned it .. specially if down by 14 or more.. I can see the reason.. Kill the clock get in the second half.. type thinking..
Also if I m getting absolutely killed as the offense when I believe the game is over.. I turn it on.. NOw I dont stop trying to run my offense.. but at least I m still trying to run some time of the clock that normally wouldnt. I mean I know it sucks for the winning coach to have to think of plays to run to keep from running it up on me. In the games I just absolute suck.

1. Guess the run and jump the snap should not even come across peoples minds to use...
2. If you play me and you use them..I wont dock you points if you use them correctly....but if you dont use them all game and fall behind 10 or so in the 4th and start pulling them out every play or every 3rd down...I might give my first ever 3 on the coaching reports in the NDL.
By the way does anyone know how to stop someone when they use play the pass... I mean is there a gimmick to stop the gimmick?
Cause everytime I get sacked Ill look down at the corner of my TV and it will say play the pass...And their DE is in there in about 2 seconds.

its not that that feature is casueing the sack, it that they dont get credit for using it if you complete the pass. I just got torched for over 500 yards in the air while using that feature knowing that 98% of the plays were going ot be pass. beleive me i know how little affect play the pass has in hte game.

I see what your saying....then how do you stop the DE from coming in untouched?
Maybe my opp. is only using it in the 4th quarter..or maybe its only working in the 4th quarter..either way its strange to me if the guy is using it all game and it only works 4 times the whole game...but it just happens to be on 4 straight plays when he just took the lead on me.
I don't care...I just need someone (who ever you just played texasfan) to tell me how to stop the play the pass strategy. Do you slid your line, throw a screen, what?
Cause if you just got torched doing it all game, there has to be a way to stop it.....cause while you are getting torched I cant even get a WR 3 yards down the field before I get hit by the DE.
Could it be from a person doing jump the snap and play the pass on the same play?

Ank its a term he heavily overuses.
Chew the clock should only be run by coaches with a healthy lead IMO.

Running clock outside of the last 2mins of a game or a 30 point blowout = BS
You guys do realize that is someone has the jump the snap feature on, just fake the snap a couple times. The defense will jump offsides. Easy way to get someone to stop doing it.

1. If you have the ball at your own 10 yard line, 2nd down with :40 to go, why wouldn't you just let the clock run down?
2. I NEVER notice any of those jump the snap pop ups, but I have noticed Dlinemen flying in on me from 3 or 4 man rushes. I may have to try the fake snaps, give that a whirl.

I meant 2mins at the end of game or half, my bad. Yes I can understand that, and yes the fake snaps work. Just pick some chump in the east room out and try it
