Okay, so my number one draft pick of this season demanded a major league contract. Had $65mil to spend so said wtf and signed him. Now while he is pitching in AA the manager keeps changing him to a MR but I want him to develop as a starter. How do I keep the manager from changing his position status? I think I found it, but want to make sure. I changed his strategy to lock him in as a starter, is that going to mess things up?

And what the hell is Atlanta's problem? I'm not going to give up the #1 pick easily!

I know if you lock a player to a minor league team while also having promotions/demotions set to the AI, it causes an issue, definitely. But I don't think anyone has had the same issue with doing the position lock thing.

I've switched to fully managing my minors this season for that very reason. I have quite a few MR/CL I'm attempting to convert to SPs.

+1 and I've seen some increases in their potentials and ratings based on the changes.

Mostly in control. Don't think it has to do with anything but that increase didn't happen before
