I bet they can't wait for the US elections to be over so they can get back to normal...

Sweden will be introducing a lock down. It’s almost as if their plan didn’t work. .. ever

They've never locked down and are still in the middle of the pack in Europe, and their uptick recently isn't nearly as big as other countries in Europe, but continue to ignore that. You won't touch any of those, you just ignore that every time I post it.

You just ignore that their plan didn't work as well as some countries in Europe, and it has worked better than some countries in Europe.

Also, the articles I saw, Sweden has not introduced a lock down, do you have a link to that?

Also Sweden’s death rate to population is higher than Canada’s....

Canada - 9k / 35m
Sweden - 5k / 10m

Shit .. Canada has less total cases than America has deaths. Don’t look across the pond for what you guys should be doing

So this confirms you are incorrect, got it .

Also, right in the article it states a spike in Stockholm but overall rates in Sweden remain low.

“We’re on the brink of a fall that could be much worse than the spring,” @JustinTrudeau says in address to the nation

when your leader says this and not "everythings gonna be fine", anxiety levels raise a bit I cant lie.

a spike in the 1 major city in Sweden? shocking.

Sweden - 10.1m ppl

Stocholm - 1.5m
Everywhere else - under 500k

so the place with 15% of the country's population is having spikes? everything's good.

Richest school in Toronto. 2 cases (1 family). Funny to see the lies tho. Principal obviously doesn’t want his name dragged so health and safety called so I had to ask. Said both were false positives. Apparently the odds of 2 false positives from 1 household is equivilent to buying some tickets from a gas station and winning the million on each.

Gonna be sweet when we’re the second school closed down in Toronto. This was also the school that caused the March lockdown

They closed the Sevierville Walmart on for the last few days so they could disinfect due to COVID issues. Lucky me, I was in that Walmart last Friday night. I'm good though... I had a mask on. BTW... COVID probably isn't a top 5 concern in that place. It's on the elite tier of "People of Walmart" locations.

Of course that's what the people would say after they are diagnosed. "But I always wore my mask!"

Those kinds of surveys are worthless.

I figured as much, but why would the CDC even put this out.

For the record, I don't wear masks unless I go to the store, because there is a mandate for it. So if I get the corona I won't say I always wore it

The California Globe was started in '17 and it's a center-right bias, focusing on government/politics. So yes, it's slanted right.

As for the study, there's far too much subjective information here. Of course they "always" wore a mask. /facepalm

People will always pick and choose their commentary that supports what the want to believe. As for the CDC's statement in the article, it's has a lot to do with preventing the spread BY you, not TO you.

Now if you want to get into a conversation of how many folks without symptoms could this be preventing from spreading if they don't have an active cough, etc... there's probably something there. But the conversation needs to be something that's a lot more inclusive, with a lot more objective information concerning the positive/negative impacts and potential estimates (still very hard to do objectively, because we're dealing with asymptomatic, which results in estimating an estimate).

She found the humor in it. She definitely didn't like the q-tip scraping the back of her skull though
