Is it me or doesnt it seem like Troy Aikman and Joe Buck are on Aaron Rodgers nuts specially strong tonight? This is man-love at its most irritating stage.

On the way back from that run we have to go pick up our ladder truck that was left at the scene of an ems call cause everyone went in the squad to the hospital (serious call lots of hands needed). Any we pick up some supplies the squad left at the scene. I jump in the Ladder truck, and roads are snow covered. I take air brake off and start to pull forward and hear a loud pop! FUCK! I just ran over the wheel chaulk. (we have a policy to put one out on every call but noone ever does) The norm is to take a walk around the truck before you leave just to make sure. Well i did this sorta i just didnt look for a wheel chaulk. Outside of rear dual tire is flat, i cant find the metal wheel chaulk. A lady comes out of her house and tells me she seen something fly through the yard. It was the wheel chaulk. Make a long story short drive the truck back to our main station. Get laughed at. (for the record i havent put out a wheel chaulk in over 6yrs) I still have no idea what the Steeler score is. Its a little after 745. I walk in the day room. See the game is over. The score, exchange a few chest bumps with other steeler fans at the station. Needless to say, i havent really seen any of the 2nd half highlights. FML for running over a that damn thing. First time in 13yrs of being here that i fucked a truck up.

all you need to know is that i single handidly won the game for Steeler Nation.

you're welcome :D

At least the Steeler fans in the NDL are respectable. Can't stand the ones I know in person and it really annoyed me that they won. Thought Baltimore was sitting good going into the half and just imploded on offense coming back out. I agree with shel that I don't understand how you get burned deep on 3rd and 19. The Steelers just have their number. In the end, Pittsburgh made the plays when they had to. Simple as that and I tip my hat to them.

Probably bitter in the Falcons too, but I enjoyed watching everything go wrong for them for once. People always talk about the Bears getting "lucky" all the time. The Falcons have caught some pretty opportune breaks during the season. Not a bad team at all, so don't think I'm trying to say they aren't talented. I just never thought they were as good as their record showed. Rodgers is a monster. Curious to see how he will do against the Bears next Sunday...

Hoping for the Pats to win today as I just don't like the Jets. I hope Brady torches Cromartie...sadly, I do like LT and would like to see him at least get a chance to play for a ring. Just hated that he went there. I think the extra week to prepare will help, but I'm curious to see if Ryan will play Brady the same he did Manning...and if so, how New England will respond to it.

Just on defense alone, I think the Bears can handle the Seahawks. New Orleans had injuries in key areas and got burned for big plays. Peppers and company can generate pressure up front and the secondary is disciplined enough to limit the big plays. But if Cutler reverts back to throwing picks...

I was referring more to your statement having more validity when you, in fact, have kids yourself and a college fund going. Little Weasels are not on the agenda any time soon

completely agree on the Falcons having luck on their side this season... They won a lot of games that they could have lost. This time their luck flat ran out. It looked like the same Falcons when they ran that KO back, but GB turned it on and did not look back. I was very impressed.

The Super Bowl I wanted to see went down in flames yesterday of a Falcons-Ravens matchup.

Now to the Super Bowl I thought we would see is coming together nicely in a GB-NE matchup which will be great. Insert Pitt for NE and Ill still be satisfied for a nice superbowl.

Lets just clear the shit out today like the Seahawks and Jets and we are pretty much set for a nice Super Bowl matchup worth watching.

Haha.. green bay did not let it effect them. However the mo the packers had going into the half with was too much for the falcons to recover from.
I see your point about momentum, but these players are not robots and emotional shifts in a game do carry something with them...
