The first half was the best United has looked all season on offense. Amazing what happens when Rooney plays as a striker

Second half.....

1) Di Maria "dive" wasn't a dive
2) Bellerin should've been sent off, even Wenger knew it, he immediately subbed him out before he got 2nd yellow
3) Wtf Januzaj dove there I have no idea....he was in on goal. Although to be fair to him, he may have just simply tripped. He didn't even appeal for a penalty that I saw, so that yellow may have been unkind because if he didn't appeal for a penalty, then there's no play-acting. However, if he did, then it's just shameful.
4) Valencia.....you fucking suck

I've tried to be patient with Di Maria (was skeptical about his signing)... but he can eat a bag of dicks. Tired of seeing his half-assed efforts... idgaf what kind of personal crap he has going on. Either ride the pine or suck it up and play.

He was terrific. He finally played where he should (on the right) and he destroyed Arsenal's left side. His job isn't to track back on defense. The first goal was Smalling's fault for not seeing that Valencia had been pushed inside on a run, he should've swung outside. But Smalling's IQ is non-existant and he was nowhere to be found.

Zlatan's red card is one of the worst Champions League decisions I have EVER seen....and I've seen some bad ones.

So sick of Chelsea getting these calls because Mourinho whines about the refs being against him and plays mind games on them. Also sick of seeing players appealing for reds and acting like their legs got broken

Image

Boots are on the ground, it was a 50/50 ball....and Oscar rolled around clutching his ankle.....but only of course after he glanced around real quick, and then Terry comes running in acting like Zlatan stabbed him or something.

Meanwhile, Bayern saw their opponents go down a man after just four minutes and are taking the opportunity to just beat the crap out of someone. It's 6-0 now.

Neuer's been standing near midfield much of the match

Wow... recorded it and just watched it... studs were never showing. Horrible to see a game have a call like that. He was so fast to throw that card too. Everything about that was wrong.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

That's what Mourinho gets for bringing on an extra defender and parking the bus. I absolutely LOVE it!

Now, the question becomes, will Zlatan's red card get rescinded? They should and will probably appeal, dunno if UEFA will do the right thing though.

Veratti and Motta were beasts, from what I read/saw. They and Matuidi absolutely wrecked Chelsea's midfield today

i mean, itll be interested to see if uefa rescinds the red (not so much rescind but forgo the match ban). I def. don't agree with people saying it isn't a yellow. It absolutely is a yellow. Came in late on a challenge, was coming in reckless.

edit. reading the ref. forums, and the fact it was Kuipers (a WC vet), i doubt the ban doesn't happen. Uefa will stick by his decision.

I really hope you're wrong, but I get what they are saying.

I don't despise Chelsea, in fact, I kind of like them... but I'm glad PSG advanced and I hope that Zlatan can play in the first match.

from what I am reading, UEFA doesn't overturn bans very often unless the offense that got the straight red ended up not deserving a card at all. The way it is looked at is, is it a card worthy file? The answer here is absolutely yes. He came in late, reckless and didn't win the ball. So after that the color is at the discretion of the ref and he chose red. They won't undermine ref discretion. Also if this was anyone on PSG other than Zlatan the convo wouldn't be happening really.

I was hoping Chelsea would advance, but only because that would cause them to be stretched in the league

I love how you think Zlatan deserved a yellow, when most pundits and experts viewed it as non-bookable; in fact, most felt that Oscar should've been the one who got booked, if either of them, for having his studs up.
