Last year's #1 overall pick, Jorge Ortiz, gets his first major league start and win in a 10-5 home win over Dillonvale. Having spent the first year of his career out with a torn labrum, Ortiz is supposed to be on a strict pitch count. The limit is 80 yet in his first game the manager allowed him to throw 87. There will be a little meeting with our manager soon.

Also, the Aces went 4-2 this sim after the GM and manager had a long sit down talk about tactics and game management. Hopefully this will right the ship a bit.

a lil word of warning.. dunno if its just coincidence, but i put Manning on a pitch limit and he got injured for a yr. took him off in the minors. put him back on one in the pros cause i noticed after 90 pitches he gets clobbered... gets hurt again

I had Rags on a pitch count for a year or two after his injury, then AJ showed his wisdom and said "pitch limits are for pussies" and I took him off. Been good since lol.

My team is losing their touch. Lost a combined 8 in a row the last 2 sims and we are 2-8 in the last 10. Looks like the Thunder Thighs are for real.

seeing as youre almost double digits above your pythag, chalk it up as regressing to the mean.

I use a MAC also, not to much is different.
