If I am Baylor and a team I beat from the same conference as me is playing for it all and I don't get a chance I am furious.

Mcelwain needs to stay away from Florida and stay at CSU at least another couple of seasons. I hate Florida.

I agree, GT is going to beat FSU and stir it all up. FSU has been squeaking by all season, GT will make them pay.Seeitsaveit13 wrote:Cnasty wrote:Stop hating Seeit!!!!!!Seeitsaveit13 wrote:It's gonna go all up in the air when FSU loses to GT this weekend though![]()
GT has been playing great ball all year and giving people fits. Combine that with only a standard week for FSU to prepare for PJ's option, it's gonna give them a very good chance to win. If they execute and play clean ball, I think they win.

In fairness to Pelini, those stompings occurred when Callahan was HC.packsyd2284 wrote:Good points Dan. I do not remember a time Nebraska has won any kind of meaningful game, especially at home where they have an unreal advantage. I remember that home and home USC had with them several years ago and how we just stomped their asses.
Correct. I cannot remember the last time Nebraska beat a top team in a long, long time.sixpackdan101 wrote:In fairness to Pelini, those stompings occurred when Callahan was HC.packsyd2284 wrote:Good points Dan. Already set for the excuses from Nole fans and the delusional Penguins of the world that whine and cry "why arent we #1, wahhhhh wahhhhhhh" but then go we werent as good as last year and expected a loss at some point.
Noles getting worse than Gators when they taste a little success again.

Damn, likely that FSU wins the 4 game playoff, confident!!!fsupenguin wrote:but when it does happen (likely @ Clemson next season if their young QB's knee get healthy this coming offseason)
That comeback is strong, den.fsupenguin wrote: I will give credit to the opponent and not cry about them being lucky.
You should blame the refs. That's more fun and common around herefsupenguin wrote:Cnasty wrote:GTech gets up by around 14 points or so in the first half but it isnt enough. FSU passes every down in the 2nd half, and win by at least 10 points.

I don't expect a loss, but when it does happen (likely @ Clemson next season if their young QB's knee get healthy this coming offseason) I will give credit to the opponent and not cry about them being lucky.

Basically, Texas Christian incinerated teams Baylor squeaked by. Here is one problem I have with the whole committee, though: they seem to have a weird way of using the eye test. I think they are right on teams like Texas Christian and Arizona but horribly wrong on the entire SEC West. Find me Arkansas' bad loss? Louisiana State is way too low, too. Missouri I disagree with on their low ranking but I get it, though.LetsGoPeay wrote:I had a nice long response all typed up but then I accidentally closed the tab. - When it comes to common opponents TCU is much more impressive.
- TCU beat West Virginia by 1. Baylor lost to WVU by 14.
- Yes, Baylor beat TCU but it took a last second field goal and a 21 point comeback, at home.
- Baylor's non-conference schedule is a joke. TCU drilled Minnesota who turned out to be a solid team.
I'm not saying the head to head result doesn't matter. But the other factors look to certainly play a big part in the decision.
