If I am Baylor and a team I beat from the same conference as me is playing for it all and I don't get a chance I am furious.

I had a nice long response all typed up but then I accidentally closed the tab. So the shelnotes version:

- When it comes to common opponents TCU is much more impressive.
- TCU beat West Virginia by 1. Baylor lost to WVU by 14.
- Yes, Baylor beat TCU but it took a last second field goal and a 21 point comeback, at home.
- Baylor's non-conference schedule is a joke. TCU drilled Minnesota who turned out to be a solid team.

I'm not saying the head to head result doesn't matter. But the other factors look to certainly play a big part in the decision.

GT has been playing great ball all year and giving people fits. Combine that with only a standard week for FSU to prepare for PJ's option, it's gonna give them a very good chance to win. If they execute and play clean ball, I think they win.

I agree, GT is going to beat FSU and stir it all up. FSU has been squeaking by all season, GT will make them pay.

GTech gets up by around 14 points or so in the first half but it isnt enough. FSU passes every down in the 2nd half, and win by at least 10 points.

Already set for the excuses from Nole fans and the delusional Penguins of the world that whine and cry "why arent we #1, wahhhhh wahhhhhhh" but then go we werent as good as last year and expected a loss at some point.

Noles getting worse than Gators when they taste a little success again. :)

I want that taste again

Ga techs beat WR is out. Yes I know they are a spread option team however I still feel like that is gonna impact the ga tech O big time. I say FSU by 6.

In fairness to Pelini, those stompings occurred when Callahan was HC.

Correct. I cannot remember the last time Nebraska beat a top team in a long, long time.

I don't expect a loss, but when it does happen (likely @ Clemson next season if their young QB's knee get healthy this coming offseason) I will give credit to the opponent and not cry about them being lucky.

You should blame the refs. That's more fun and common around here

lol, for the love of god please dont ever never ever have me over with whomever else in your circle of friends that are fsu fans that have you so jaded

i keep hearing from you, espn and radio commentators about seminoles crying over the rankings or how we're gonna cry if we lose and get left out....i know at a minimum 100+ fsu fans 20-30 alumni and everyone seems to be on the same page. no one is crying, no one is whining. this is the most homer statement i'll ever make but per capita seminole fans are the most level headed fan base ive ever seen....of course my biggest comparison is uf and um (not so much um....lately)

shit, most of us are thrilled to be #4. I think Oregon or Bama rolls us but bama is a much better match up (if we get past gt..which most of us again are realists and know our odds). bama is talent..we can somewhat matchup though we're much younger than they are. i think we can keep them from blowing us out. most noles who have watched every game and every play know our defense is lead by Ramsey....who is INCREDIBLY talented but he is passionate and with passion comes over confidence and aggression. all it takes is one busted assignement and you have a 60-70 yard td run or pass and i think the ducks would eat us alive with about 2 plays per quarter. so i among others WELCOME the drop to #4.

that being said, thats also why gt has a real shot at us. big plays on busted assignements by the safeties. watch..i'll be back here quoting this sentence on sunday

so many people are projecting the seminole fan base to be crazy, livid, unrational when i havent seen any of that. it bugs the shit outta me. can anyone show me where all this occuring..and please....dont bring no youtube comments from some teenie with a name like swaggynole6969

go noles. if we lose, we lose. its been/is a helluva ride

(i get the hate though by everyone...sucks to be on this end of a team everyone "hates"...but as i said before...i'll take all over again in a second if its brought on my getting tired of seeing us win games)

Basically, Texas Christian incinerated teams Baylor squeaked by. Here is one problem I have with the whole committee, though: they seem to have a weird way of using the eye test. I think they are right on teams like Texas Christian and Arizona but horribly wrong on the entire SEC West. Find me Arkansas' bad loss? Louisiana State is way too low, too. Missouri I disagree with on their low ranking but I get it, though.

Why so sensitive? People always hated the Noles, they just hate them more because they are actually winning again. :)

Enjoy the ride, enjoy the hate. I've been there when Miami was dominating and I bet your ass your boy Pengy and you were hating to the hatenth degree during our run.

I haven't seen a team this hated in a long while. What's more interesting is that the hate seems to stem from the coach as much as the problems, which is rare. I mean, I absolutely loathe Jimbo Fisher.

Again, as was tweeted by someone a few weeks ago, how morally bankrupt and despised does your program have to be that the entire nation was rooting for Miami. MIAMI!

Bingo. :)

My hate is just exacerbated due to the rivalry.
