Eric Johnson's numbers:
373 AB, 126 H, 32 2B, 5 3B, 2 HR, 44 RBI, 51 R, 36 BB, 70 K, .338 AVG, .394 OBP, .466 SLG, 6 SB
most players are in the upper 400 to low 500 ABs, so if Johnson would have started from day 1 just think of the numbers he could have:
500 AB, 169 H, 43 2B, 7 3B, 3 HR, 59 RBI, 68 R, 48 BB, 94 K, .338 AVG, .394 OBP, .466 SLG, 8 SB
Not bad for a rookie campaign . . . Keep Tapia and Ando off the DL and who knows if those numbers would have/could have been higher.
Just bragging on one of the few bright spots on my team . . .

theres like... 6 sims left, and youre gonna do that well when you cant even beat Atlanta? the worst team IN the league now?

..
Hey! I was built to beat PO and PO alone. Yeah, that's what I'm going with.......

Solid power numbers.
Williams has done admirably since coming over in the Jacobs trade.

He said he would accept it if I offered. You must not be a good negotiator.

To make things worse, 2 more guys on the 60 day. aunders and Harrison sidelined for 3the months and 10 months. That is now 7 guys on the 60 day DL. No reason this team is inconsistent.
Next two series are on the road against Louisville and Indiana, hoping to win 4 of the games here, without another serious injury.

Yeah... had someone do that to me 2 seasons ago. Now I just assume the player wants 150% of current. This ranks right up there with the "yeah, my scout shows him at 72 pot, your scout must suck, he only shows him at 53."

I couldnt sign Matt Clayton, he wanted a Major League contract and I didnt need him up so fuck that. His slot wanted 1.2 mil or something, he wanted 2.8 and I even offered 3 mil no contract and he broke off talks really early. oh wells. I can live with 2 firsts next year.

last year I had 3 players past round 5 not sign. Everyone seemed to have 1. This year, only 1 player past round 5 didn't sign (18th from San Diego)

Trendon should have had bear sign him then trade him. I'm sure he was giving the discount to stay. In chi town is he loyal? If so trading him might affect his want to be on another team. I dunno. Sure don't think Bear was being slick.
