Yep, impressive. Hopefully we ll play the 2nd half alot like the 1st half.
Re: NFL Thread
I used to think the same way until I got a deep thigh contusion back in HS, took a helmet to the thigh. You feel like a huge pussy because you can walk alright with a slight limp, but when you really try to move it just tightens up on you. I was actually surprised to see Rothelisberger not come out after he took that knee to the hip on the first drive.shel311 wrote:It may be dumb, but a big pet peeve of mine is when a player is too injured to return to a game, but he can walk around and stand on the sidelines and watch the game.
Numb that shit up and get back out there, lol.
I mean, realistically, you can shred your ACL and walk just fine.
Re: NFL Thread
1) That "fumble" was an incomplete pass.
2) The Steelers get away with more holding, game in and game out, than any team in the NFL
3) The NFL is getting out of hand with these penalties against defenders hitting "defenseless players". That safety was letting up (he didn't drive him down) and he had less than half a second between when the wideout's hands touched the ball, and when he hit him. How the fuck is he supposed to not hit him when he's already going into the motion to do so?!?!
And Shel, if a guy with an arm injury WASN'T standing out there, then people would say he's not out there supporting his team. You find something to argue about no matter what is going on

The other teams they face always get flagged for rough play/hits, yet they do it all the time and nothing is ever called. Ward is one of the dirtiest players in the league.

i understand theres holding on every play but 1 example, the big ben run a few plays ago, the dude who tackled him was getting the back of his jersey held, it like pulled off u could see his back. Do refs not see this? lolcdub21 wrote:lol so true, but too many steelers fans in here to saynick wrote:lol why do people even play the Steelers? the refs give them everything

Re: NFL Thread
Jets coaching has been brutal down here at the goal line killing time but that was a beautiful play.
Nice come back by ny but to little to late, that goal line stand was the sealer
